Sigma Lithium is a Canadian exploration and development company focused on developing its 100%-owned, Grota do Cirilo hard rock lithium project in Brazil, with the Feasibility Study stage project expected to start commissioning by the end of the year. The project hosts the largest hard rock lithium deposit in the Americas and potentially the world’s fourth largest lithium mine. Phase 1 is fully funded for 111 million dollars US and is targeting 270,000 tonnes of Lithium spodumene concentrate annually, with two further phases to follow. Estimated production costs are 455 dollars US per tonne which would make Sigma one of the world’s lowest cost producers.
Sigma's main listing is on Nasdaq (SGML).
