Shanta Gold (LSE:SHG) are the East-Africa-focused and AIM-listed gold explorer and producer. The Shanta management team, Eric Zurrin CEO, Luke Leslie CFO and a surprise guest Yuri Dubrotin, the new Group Exploration Manager presented at London South East's Natural Resources webinar on Tuesday evening 25.05.21.
The presentation focused on the considerable growth prospects for the business, and in particular the team highlighted the development prospects for West Kenya. An RNS release on Tuesday morning caused the share price to jump 9% on the day, and the team took us through what the results meant.
"It's hard to find that kind of grade in a greenstone deposit anywhere in the world - these results are eyewatering really" explained a visibly excited Eric Zurrin. "We have along way to go to produce the first gold bar, but this absolutely shows the value in this project."
