Rolf Gerritsen, CEO at MetalNRG gives an operational update and sees an exciting year ahead

MetalNRG (MNRG) CEO Rolf Gerritsen spoke to London South East and gave us a comprehensive operational update and summed up what's happening with the different elements of the business nicely.

As you may know, MetalNRG consists of a green energy JV with EQTEC and also has a 100% owned gold investment in Arizona, oil through BritNRG, and uranium in Kyrgyzstan.

"On the EQTEK side we are going to have the recommissioning of the plant in Italy, which will probably be Q2 of this year, and that will start producing revenue for the Italian joint venture company. We are also looking at additional investments, and I am expecting further news out of that.

"With GoldRidge in Arizona, it is very early days, but companies have expressed an interest in working with us to develop the GoldRidge project further.

"I do expect news out of Kyrgyzstan and news out of the uranium projects and I think it could well be positive. 18 months ago the Government banned all exploitation of uranium in the country because of projects which had caused ecological damage. Since then an election has brought a new Government which is pro-explotation of certain projects. There is a possibility that our license, not everyone's, will be reinstated.

"On BritNRG, we are working through a legal process and will keep the market informed as and when we can."
