So how does Renishaw’s recent inancial performance stand up? The most recent picture is clearly stronger than it was a year ago. In H1 FY2026, revenue rose 7.1% to £365.6m, or 11.5% at constant currency, while adjusted operating pro it increased 11.4% to £57.5m and adjusted operating margin improved to 15.7% from 15.1%. Adjusted pro it before tax rose 11.5% to £64.1m and adjusted EPS increased 8.9% to 68.8p. Q2 revenue was a record £194.8m, up 14.1% on Q1, and management highlighted a further signi icant strengthening of the order book....

I wonder if the trading update on Wednesday will be a good one and whether the Market will like the update?

Today I added the fourth and final tranche with an avg price 41.45, so let’s see if I’m right and if it closes above 46.91 it would be a good indicator to me.

Then my own price indicators, target, turning point or guide to over come will confirm the trend is upwards to me.

1) 5295 closing price made on 07/08/2020

2) 5905 highest closing price made on 08/10/2020

3) 6330 highest closing price made on 08/02/2021

4) 6900 highest closing price made on 02/03/2021, before the big fall to the lowest closing price 2145 made on 22/04/2025.

It’s been a long wait since 2021’s high so let’s see what the future holds.

Great update with almost 40% increase in profits. Does anyone know more detail about the increased semiconductor orders ? I'm interested if this will enable a rerating as a 'picks and shovel' supplier for the AI boom...............
