IMO... Addressing these at scale developments is paramount before treading the floors regarding the small budget allocated . To investors the project remains a lab success not a commercial product, although they will be watching. The March RNS mentions a £150k R&D allocation, which suggests :
1) The company is in a validation phase to attract investors or partners.
2) They’re positioning themselves as a serious contender in "alternative outputs" (e.g., SAF) to align with decarbonization trends.
3) Proving scalability strengthens their bid for, partnerships, or regulatory approvals.
Unfortunately, many on these BBs thought that the FTU build would be the catalyst for quantifiable data to enable commercial contracts. Not so, it was the foundation for further development. At least we now know the company objectives and budgets to achieve commercial status, however PHE needs to convey and give clarity to these objectives to counter investors lethargy. This is the most important period in PHE history, the potential to finalise DMG validity. Staying quiet at this juncture is an opportunity lost .....
