Anglo American Share Price (AAL)

The board of directors at SM clearly liked to shareholders. Seems that goes unpunished in our country.

AAL are forecasting first polyhalite in 2027. It forms a part of their core activities, for now at least.

It’s a massive project for the U.K. and one that the government should want to support. Seeing local MPs cosy up with ICL makes me think it’s not likely to happen.

AAL need to get the project over the line. The tunnel is not far from completion. The shafts are progressing, albeit slowly.

Delaying projects costs money.

Once this mine is operational, the rewards are high. I’m just not sure I’ll live to see it.

What happened (apart from COVID and prior to this financing plans by Chris F.)?

Did dwarfs secretly dug everything out or this snake oil project wasn't viable on a first place?

Obviously woodsmith is not worth the investment, otherwise it would not have been wound down.

It might pay if it could be safely opened to the N Yorkshire public to hack your own wheelbarrowful for a fiver? Sort of like a fruit farm "pick your own?"

Surely the message is that Woodsmith is at a crossroads. AA would need both the cash and conviction to plough a few $B more in and justify it with good returns and long-term strategy... Can this be proven?
