98.5% of 245.95 is 241.37, would be lovely if they could just add a little before the end date!

These notes are likely just for me as it is an end game echo chamber, but NAV now 245.05 less 1.5% discount is still higher than the bid at 232. Still better to hold to cash convert, just had the dividend this morning too.

Am I right i thinking the cash offer is against the NAV , currently 247.35, with a 1.5% discount? That would make the cash settlement 243.64p against the current ask of 236p. I know 7.64p is not exactly untold riches, but does look like an instant 3.25% gain for nothing.

Am I missing something?

Looks like you got your wish, just five years later. Not a great deal for holders here although the interim dividend compensates for the SHRS discount to NAV and calculation used for replacement shares.

Held these and Dunedin Smaller for Decade or so. Thought they would merge up on the Standard takeover. This is really small now in terms of Aberdeen Standard. Not that there will necessarily be anything much in it for the savers. Perhaps they will get this bigger instead by making a 'C' share issue with attaching 1 for 5 freebies. Not impossible, but I'm not holding my breath. I am surprised though that AS has not cut down the number of ITs.
