trust me...there could be a lot worse to come.
Last night a postie I was talking to broke down in front of me. Turning away, choking on words, and valiantly fighting back tears, this giant of a man said to me: want am I to do, mate? 19 f..k.n days?! What the f.ck am I to do?!
If this goes the full 19 days and spills over into the New Year...then the miners strike might end up looking like a storm in a tea cup.
There is nothing remotely funny about what looks like could well come now.
scamp not one single department is on strike for 19 days!!!!! 4 days in October one a week.... then a rolling strike of areas which mean... 9 days... one a week I imagine. hope you put the guy right instead of fear mongering!!!!
and thats 9 days total..... 1 day a week..... and then the crying posty as you say will work overtime to get his pay back.... and do you know what...these are the typical employees that are absolutely what royal mail want... overtime overtime overtime.....but will go in and then accept what we fight for without losing anything in the process...

This post makes me chuckle…pardon the pun..
And the union have sent out emails to all members warning them if they strike a lot of changes will happen…that striking will enable to spread up agreements, will give them the opportunity to claw some sick benefits back, change working practices, let people go,ect ect..wouldn’t want the union mongering would we:-)
Get in line boys
baby shark....so Dave ward s leftist agenda that's trying to help the working man is a disgrace????? ill tell you now its nothing to do with left wing politics. its to do with fair play.... you scum bag
apologies for the term scum bag... as with insults like that temporarily lowered me to that of a shark running his belly off the ocean floor...

scamp you said"Last night a postie I was talking to broke down in front of me. Go and make yourself a nice cup of Horlicks and a digestive biscuit. Take long deep breaths.
i say anger..... i may do that later and i will take short steps tomorrow...
scamp... what film did you get that quote from???? he is on strike for one day a week through to december.....to fight for a decent pay rise and protect his job!!!!! next generation of the workforce will be on zero hours and tipping their cap at the master if royal mail gets their way...
a little word of calm here....we all know on here the likes of anger, maximus and others are up to their neck in losses on royal mail... and awaiting mr kretinsky to wave his magic wand and sack the entire workforce and press on with the very changes that apparently him and Simon Thompson haven't talked about... lol... but remember he cannot sack every individual as then there is no royal mail.... do not forget the great benefit system we have in this country (due to be increased by inflation currently 10%) and an unemployment rate of @1.2million with @1.8million jobs available...... what i am saying is,is that anyone that's got a job has one and not many are looking for work,,, especially walking for 5-6 hours a day.....
and by the way the 1.2 million thats currently unemployed predominantly do not want to work... FACT!!!!!!!
ANGER I HAVENT LOST 50% OF MY PORTFOLIO!!!! JUST A MILITANT CRAZY BIN DIPPING POSTY!!!LOL PS I LIVE TO HARASS PEOPLE LIKE YOU. LIKE YOU DO TO THE DECENT HARD-WORKING MAN THAT PROBABLY OR MOST DEFINATLY EARNED YOUR ALLEDGED FORTUNE.... AND TO BE FAIR IF YOU WAS THAT WELL OFF THEN WHY DO YOU USE AN ISA... NOT MUCH BENEFITS THERE FOR A MAN OF YOUR WEALTH...
sorry for the capitals... as never looked before posting... bit like some on here
anger wasn't there a programme on tv... a comedy actually... oh yes harry Enfield.... what a c.u.n.t. that persona was also...
i rest my case.............
anger and now i have finished it dear boy.................goodnight
anger...
MWAH
@Wolves, not to defend @Anger but to call yourself hard-working, when all you basically do is swan around for 20 hours a week is a bit of a weak ****-take.
Hope you bought the dip? The rise from 1.80 yesterday morning to the highs of today will have caught a lot off-guard.
@teslo i work hard and do 25hrs per week 5 a day.... I do not do indoor work so I am on foot throughout...so as a decent bloke retract your statement as I am not the cause of the problems with the sp... also did I buy on the dip.... answer was no as the rise has somewhat surprised me and others a little... I do think there is something dodgy going on with the market makers though...
@ teslo ...ask anger if he bought on the dip? or he may be waiting for it to drop again before he buys at top end.... just ask him...
@ wolvesposty
I can confirm the hardest part of the job its the delivery!
The share price is low because of poor management from top to bottom..not all but a lot are not really managers...a lot I've seen when there's a problem have to be .....advised what to do by staff as they are like rabbits in the headlights..
mummy shark....you always catch the bottom like your name.. scrawling all over the sea bed to catch any thing you can to fill your belly....
Do you think you conduct yourself in the manner of a intelligent investor. I dip in and out here, the overriding impression I get is that your not very good at this.
@ AngerSharkz
