News keep flowing, all adding up to a huge monstORR....
With so much potential good news flow in the offing you would think they would be able to arrange to L to be bought out by a strategic investor rather than suffer with this aggressive seller
Should be blue by close
Single £50k offload that bunch I reckon
You can bet your proverbial that the selling this morning has come from L, however as mentioned on numerous occasions their selling offers retail investors the chance to get in at basement levels.
What is needed here to drive volume is another corporate deal such as a new JV or the much telegraphed news on Senala in Senegal, the BOD need to draw attention to their stake, the nearest comparison would be last years £40m takeover of Chesser Resources only 10km to the east of ORR's northern licence. That would make ORR's circa 40% stake worth £16m if translated across, there is NO value at all in ORR's current m/cap despite a historic spend of £10m+ ?
The BOD need to start shouting from the rooftops about Senala's prospective value, I still prefer a stake sale, albeit it would be discounted but in this market cash is king so receiving £2m/£3m up front with some form of royalty and gold discovered bonus moving forward would be a perfect solution, it would secure fund ORR well into late 2026 .
The next news will hopefully be on Senala.
I think the problem is also the uneducated. I had a look at the other forum and people questioning the “low grades” etc etc.
If people did a small amount of research and understood these are trenching results and not drilling results , it would go along way.
As Martin said , good at surface is weathered due to the elements. This results highlight the extent and width of the gold profile at Mbe and if you’re seeing the results displayed in the last 2 RNS’s then you would recognise how great they are.
Unfortunately, people can’t distinguish the two.
They only sell 2 million a day seemingly. lol
Just Lanstead using the good news opportunity, they still have 500 million shares to shift.
Wow look at the sells. has civil war broke out in Cameroon
Indeed troajan. It is GGP territory.
Worth noting that GGP was deep, deep underground and is very expensive to mine.
The advantage here is, it’s shallow pit, at surface. Which is cheap and economically , very viable. Still early days but as a cost per ounce this would be cheaper.
Cekim - not sure but the way I view this is.
BCM’s chief geologist was that excited at the early stage geology work at Mbe that they had to get involved right.
That was purely based of soil samples. Now we have the initial trenching results which have been very very good. That’s also not a ramp, they are very significant.
(Anyone who is worth their salt will know what the potential at Mbe is)
So if the chief geologist at a Mining company was that excited about soil samples, imagine how keen they will be to drill after these trenching results? Which prove to an ever greater degree how promising Mbe looks.
Just because John and Sally from down the road are selling a few million most likely to buy a dumb share that they have seen get pumped this morning and fancy their chances over there.
In reality they have little idea what they’re talking about but it reflects on the day to day share price.
Just like I wouldn’t ask John and Sally for advice on my job or my golf swing. I wouldn’t ask their advice on gold exploration results either.
Listen to the pros who do this for their job.
100 metres?....that's ggp territory
Right then who is selling with this superb RNS.
Exceptional trenching results with corridors in excessive of 100m and gold anomaly’s across almost the entire 500m section at MB-South.
This results are truly great. For weather gold at surface to get such big intersections and good grades.
Easy to forget there is also Mbe North which gave great results a few weeks ago.
Mbe could be a potentially huge gold discovery and drilling will be getting underway in Q4.
Mbe really stands for “Mother-load, Beneath Earth
I think there may be gold in the ground...
ORR CEO like a rock star in Cameroon, smothered by media, has to bode well for the company

This is bonkers!
I was a long term holder, and had been invested since early 2021, held for 3 long painful years and I have to confess, I did sell out earlier this year in January 2024 for a profit, but have started re- building my position.
I always enjoy reading the posts especially Kutzz and Hunniford & others, but I mention Kutzz's messages are excellent and always kept me going during the long painful days
I wanted to thank Hunniford as well, who earlier this year went to the AGM met the Board asked for questions he could raise in advance and then took the time to post the answers, excellent information and very much appreciated. There are not very many people that would have done that 😊
There are no other LSE boards where you get genuine input and a feeling that we are all in it together, trying to give a view from both sides and extra technical information. Most of the other boards are full of trash, pumping and dumping shares, HE1 is a prime example.
I have had the opportunity to meet one of the board before, a very genuine, honest, humbling and knowledgeable person and I think you will find it very difficult to find another AIM company where the board actually invest vast sums of their own money either through their own resources or salary sacrifices to the extent the team displayed over the last 3 years.
I think Oriole have an excellent board, great team of people and I am pretty confident as time passes by, the long term holders will be rewarded. The BCM deal was brilliant and I can only imagine how the future deals will shape up if that is anything to go by.
Unfortunately no one can control the market, shares will be bought and sold, simply the nature of buying and selling shares, supply and demand. At some point these shares will hopefully become so valuable that no one will want to trade them for the 10-20% small term gains and will hold on for the longer ones.
The Lanstead deal in my opinion, whilst extremely painful at the time, I believe it was the best option and was done in the best interest of Top Co. They are definitely on the right side of things as far as I can tell.
trades 11,12 & 13 today were buys and not sells as recorded. As we all know every buy is matched with a sell, so it is pretty imaterial really.
From LinkedIn which also has some pictures….
#ORR CEO, Martin Rosser, was recently invited by the Cameroon government to the official opening of negotiations for a mining convention. Attended by senior government officials & dignitaries, the event provided an opportunity to discuss the Bibemi exploitation licence application.
During the event, Martin spoke with important officials, including His Excellency Professor Fuh Calistus Gentry, Minister - Ministry of Mines, Industry & Technological Development. #ORR is delighted to see the strong support that #mining has from the Cameroon government.
A nice RNS from GGP just out, hopefully we can follow 🤞🏻
Come on Oriole.
Let’s get this show on the road and the share price moving upwards.
On balance, given where we are in the deal with Lanstead, I think they have been pretty fair with their selling and kept it on schedule. I know a lot of people like the idea of Lanstead being bought out but at the end of the day when that happens then it likely spells time for the next fund raise. So from my perspective I'd like to see some decent news from the business, Bibimi drilling, Mbe trenching and Maiden drill results at MBE (plus another JV or two announced) before Lanstead is done selling since hopefully that should give the company more cash in the bank from higher sell prices.
The 2M per trading day volume is sizeable for this company at the moment but negligible compared to some other AIM PM stocks GGP PREM etc, not sure how we get the momentum back?? I guess rounding off the year with 1M Oz at Bibs would be a pretty compelling story, particularly at current gold prices and IF Mbe is slated to be much bigger than Bibs!!
Would be nice for the awaited RNS to drop today🤞🏻
