I have little doubt that the issuing of shares will be approved by the meeting on Wednesday, the asset is after all 'a company maker'. Most new Australian shareholders looking for an entry here will giggle at the whinging Poms. The BoD have found a new and more appropriate audience.
HI Shortarm, must admit I admire.your unswerving positivity ! Wonder what they have to do to upset you! I have been here a long time, as have LoB, Claret, Van and until.recently DJ. Just because we don't constantly eulogise about the company and its board that doesn't make us whinging Poms. I expect you sometimes are not as bullish as you always appear! It is good to question. In my experience people on her who do voice a less bullish view normally also publish their reasons. That is a healthy attitude in my view.
John, first ten million at under a penny. Then sold several million at just over 5 p. Unfortunately bought them back just under 5p and all the way down to 1.5p.
They would have to do a lot to upset me! Do you consider Kerim a ramper when he says 'company maker' - he has never been accused of that one before!
Uneducated John backed the wrong horse he should have been in Empire metals who have made a few POMS happy.
Two years ago sub 2p and then multi bagged to over 12p, something we were waiting for AAU to do.

Poor John perhaps he needs one of his ‘special massages’ to ease his anxiety a little!
Woof Woof
Woe is me, another green message I cant read. Never mind,at least I know it's not worth reading
I think Dr Sener is a very fine geologist. No.I don't believe him as much as I did years ago when I came here as he has become adept at the political.answer. Rarely if ever are questions from shareholders answered properly even when it is obvious to those reading what the ques⁷tioner wanted to know. I particularly was shocked with the sharp and abrupt actions of the arrogant chairman in the latest Q&A when he mocked some of the questions asked. The business side of the company is weak I believe though the technical side is strong.
I have to say I'm disappointed with the recent move to get involved in Zimbabwe and still think its a mistake, but KS is adamant that this is the way forward. Maybe he does now realise that he gave away far to much to Ozaltin a few years ago. I've now just sold another tranche of shares today and hopefully I will of sold everything by the end of this year. I had high hopes of AAU at one time but now see that shareholders will have to wait a very very long time to see any gains here.
Sad to hear that but I'm not surprised . The company is changed over the days when Salinbas was the great hope. That was squandered down to 23.5% and zero control so a new company maker was needed. Hence Zimbabwe. If if works it will be great but there is risk
Hundred thousand ounces at AISC 1100 ish means 120 million dollars a year profit. P/E 5 to 10 would be 600M to 1,2B MCAP, sounds worth waiting for?
And for safety we still have income from Turkey.
Salinbas is still there, WTR has an option on a mine, copper in Cyprus etc!
Real signs that long termholders are dumping now, half a million shares at a time. Bad day.
Unfortunately worse to come tomorrow, once the merger is agreed with Rockover. Maybe new investors will come onboard once they list on Aussie market, but they'll have a long long wait for this. Didn't want to say it but more chance of Clarets winning Premier league than AAU becoming a 500 million pound company.
To be honest Claret I don't think the vote should make much difference as it is very likely to be passed so is already in the market price. The trouble for me and I believe Shortarm is that we are both elderly ish gentlemen and need these projects developed ASAP. That is where the age of the Rockover directors will help I think as they will have influence we don't and will press for.early development
I'm also in the elderly age bracket John, and am now getting my weekly allowance from the state, but look at AAU's history of missing deadlines. If I could believe them I wouldn't be as unhappy as I currently am. Surely you're looking at 5 to 7 years before the mine will be built and in production in Zimbabwe, and that's without political, social and economic issues which are never far away unfortunately.
Hi C&B, that kind is my point. Maybe it is a folorn hope due to their previous but Rockover blokes are even older than us (I was made in 1957). Those chaps will want Dokwe into production in their lifetime, and they have significant shareholding sand are to be AAU directors. I am not saying they hold the whip hand on the current AAU BoD but they do have a vested interests to push the development forward soon. The AAU BoD have not had that pressure before,
I’m 75 next month. Can I see me profiting from my current shareholding? No is my answer.
I bought some here at 1.25 moons ago, and like some others I dabbled with sales and purchases and ended on the wrong side of “fun”. Went to the AGM last year. Maybe me and one other PI there.
What a hole of a place, full of pompous p*****. Guess who is a member!
I have always believed in Kerim, who at the time (video link from Oz) was quite optimistic with their prospects, as always I have to say.
I do hope I outlive our C!
How many of you still have your own dentures?
You have beaten myself and C&B by a few years!
My thoughts about Dr S and the C are similar
The road to 2030 is now paved with gold and the pavements are lined with silver and copper.
Moaners and whingers sell up and F off we don’t need your negative vibes round here on this newer, bigger and better journey.
All we need now is Farage for PM and the God Emperor Trump to be rightfully restored on his throne and happy days are here.
Yawn !
On Friday we are going to be waking up with an absolute nightmare on our hands.
