Unfortunately if there is even the slightest blip, the market will be unforgiving.....quickly. as i said though. whatever your poison, grab the rails and away we go..........
Kipper, slightly different this time given they have confirmed they have hydrocarbons. If the flow tests show it to be significant the traders selling will likely get swallowed up by new positions. As you say each to their own but its certainly looking like an exciting few months ahead. 👌🏻
i have been here two years, and was here at 7p. "this time next year rodney". and look what happened. after topping up two months ago i am now 33% up. a great return, and as i said a couple of weeks ago, it could yoyo merrily yet, and we haven't even got the drill turning yet. last time it spiked the clever boys were all talking about 20p, it would be a doddle, just drill a big hole and paradise is just around the corner, alas this is mother nature and we all know she can be a *****, just as she was last time. this time however i am not falling for it. when the noise reaches fever pitch, just before the announcement of the drill success or failure, there will be a nice spike, there always is, when it leaks out (as it always does), and then i am out. if it does succeed, and it is going to hit 20p. then i will jump back in, but i would rather lose 20% of a good strike than 50% of a bad one. whatever your poison of course, and as ever gla. enjoy the ride
Nice to see this s/p is warming up somewhat again.... but this doggy/puppy can be volatile.. so nice if it doesn't retrace like it did recently from around such level.. and instead motors on well into the 5 p's this week.. and why not (please) !
Let's hope so.Been a long time coming
As long as it is completely successfull. To me that is the most important aspect of this particular drill.
Had a good day,now for a good wine.
Enjoy your evening.
Be nice to be ahead of timelines
A lot of the bits have been there for a while. Not sure what was left to bring in but they will then rig up before bringing the drilling crews over.
According to the Utah (udogm) data they are already drilling but that’s never accurate.
Rig 257 on or near site according to oil gas leadssite.position outside Green river off route 70.
People still are though IG. We might see 5p again today
They have already discovered a huge quantity of oil, faulty equipment replaced, best rig and crew for the job to control the well pressure. The sp will be multiples of the current price if all goes to plan so it's no wonder the it's rising.
Very hard to buy and moving up nicely
And yet the price still rises.
Somebody buying behind the scenes hopefully.
Should be a good week with spudding to take place the latter part of next week.
Cant buy a bean
Its definitely going to be squeaky bum time.Pray they can tame the pressure. If they can we're multi bagging instantly
Lots of positive sentiment out there so lets hope we see a steady climb in the SP as we approach the 36-12 drill. Good to see Zephyr has made Malcys Bucket List again for 2024 concluding " all in all this should be a big returner from one of the best teams in the business". Malcys share price prediction is £0.20 and investing.com have a 12 months target of £0.13

You have to think that if the drill is successful and with all whats to follow there will be a significant upside in the SP from here. Lets hope those of us that have kept patience are finally rewarded and Colin is able to deliver.

Yes, volumes off this site, total vol to the left of the 3 month graph, others below..

88e, is a dual listed explorer, a good example of a stock where the buy/sell volume is nonsense as often you can buy and sell above the mid price.. You need to dummy sell and buy to be sure what's what..
One trick, that's if it's intentional, is to change the spread so the mid moves, while the trades actually remain in the same price range. Lets say they tick down only the Bid, the mid then moves down but if the traded prices remain the same more are printed as buys, giving the impression buys are increasing.. Then at the end of the day the price maybe down while buys out strip sales..
Your best to use a chart to distinguish the buys from the sells, along with dummy trading while you hold a position in a share, especially if there is a lot of volume.. Even that can be difficult..
Nice post JohnDough. So good I posted on the other site with credit to you. Very exciting. Amazing techonology when you think how they strated "digging" with a bucket and spade [almost] not so long ago. lol.
Worth noting H&P Flex Rigs have the option to be “walking rigs” so can be fully assembled on the pad to one side of 36-2R, if for example any pre-work there is ongoing, & then literally walked into position as required. For those who haven’t seen it, just Google “Flex 3 walking rig” for H&P’s own vid of this. GLA.
The timescales have not changed. In fact they may be a tiny bit forward of initial plans.
They have always said rig up in mid April with drilling to start straight after. H&P had to move all the equipment from the previous drill they were doing first.
From rns “ The H&P rig has now been mobilised to the well site and will begin rig-up activity in mid-April, prior to commencing the larger drilling operation.”
Colin has confirmed the exact same thing today

Great response thank you. I don't know where you got your volumes - doesn't look like this site and appears to be total shares, not £ value. What's 88e? Rest is very clear, thanks again
Having looked at the Twitter post again he says spud “just after” mid April. The new well will be drilled about 20 metres away from the old well and they will be “twinned”.
Brilliant news.
