yes pacman, it would be a little strange I guess. But I'm not too bothered who is selling them so long as it's all above board, which I expect it is. Wouldn't be surprised to see another rns this week.
Because they are getting processed in the yourgene lab. Would seem a bit strange to get the yourgene tests from a 3rd party, then have them processed in the yourgene lab.
That may well be the case bakky.
How do you know Ygen are supplying them direct? They could be getting them from a third party!
I’m not questioning the test or the processing of it in the Yourgene lab. I just find it surprising anyone can seem to setup a ‘clinic’ with a Facebook page, if it’s someone in the medical profession such as a nurse why not point that out. Why would Yourgene supply tests to a company that has only a Facebook page, surely there are already established businesses with a reputation that can run these services? It just seems a bit strange, but if it’s bringing in revenues then I suppose it’s all good.
And as far as this service goes its a brand new industry. There will be new business offering these services sprouting up all over the place. Just because they are new doesn't mean they are cowboys.
From responses they have had on their Facebook page, the service is getting good feedback, while only in its infancy.
What accreditation do you need. The test has regulatory approval and the yourgene lab does.
What else do you need. Anyone with basic medical knowledge can take a swab. At my boys school the first aid trained teacher is doing them.
Yourgene are obviously supplying the tests and doing the testing, so your really implying that yourgene is a cowboy operation too.
So I asked a question on the clear2go Facebook page, regarding if they have any official accreditation to be offering tests. Instead of getting a reply my question has been deleted and I’ve been blocked from commenting! Seems like a cowboy operation.
They are confident of estimates. Lyn said the component manufacture didn't have a significant monetary value, and whilst they are still an approved component supplier, they do not expect significant business with Novacyt.
In words to this effect, he basically said he didn't want to be making cheap components for others when they can make their own kit and make more money!
We did beat Novacyt to the CE approval with the 2 gene test, but I think they may have that approval now too.
Yes the forecast was updated to >25 mil. From listening to the investor presentation they seemed quite confident in hitting revenue targets if I remember correctly. Was there any mention of the contract manufacturing agreement with Novacyt? As that could have an impact on revenue, I missed the beginning of the meeting so didn’t hear everything.
Actually year end 2021 revenue prediction was 22.3 (consensus broker forecast), now 25.3M post COVID update this week.
Hi Eato, Chem is correct, it’s two different companies I’m afraid. Having said that, the post from masterblater does highlight the potential demand for return-to-work testing opportunities, which I believe is what he was highlighting.
Very exciting times nowadays, with testing only being one of our strong multi faceted business faces. Lyn and his team are executing a master class in business building, in my opinion and inevitably the share price will start to correct itself at some point.
I’m now starting to consider what the half year revenue figures may look like compared to last year. We hit 7.8M in Sep 2019 against a yearly target of 17M. We had a carry over of 400k in April 2020 and until the readjusted broker estimates after our latest testing update, our year end 2021 revenue estimate was 21.3M, so I’m guessing somewhere in the region of 10-12M for the half year update but who knows. Thoughts?
I was starting to think the same! Thanks
Don’t think this is the same company as the one Smithy found on social media. The one on Facebook (Clear2Go) seems to be just some individual who has setup a page and is offering tests
Apologies again that this the FDA in the Philippines that I also monitor.
USA FDA link here:

Sorry typo meant to say that Clarigene has gotten CE-IVD approval (not FDA approval).
re Director Options it looks like there's no change then. These always land after hours on a Friday. Should see another tranche after the Half Year results.
Clarigene test has gotten FDA approval which should help to get FDA approval for Emergency Use but as of yet the YGEN test is not approved for use in the US. You can monitor the list below.

Do we know if they are using Yourgene for the testing in the US or have they already got someone else?
