Frankie. Radio silence? We have had 10+ good rns's since April. The last 3 rns's all have numbers to them. Vid/ presentation end of April and another one in a couple of weeks. I disagree about the framework stuff. Let's see what happens in the coming weeks?
We go from one month to the next year being led like Donkeys on one promise after another unforeseen hiccup.
Once you see it - failed land grab, litigation, covid, tba - you understand a buyout would mean the next hiccup/excuse/clusterfeck would not matter, for it surely will arrive otherwise to prolong 6 years to 7,8,9,10.
Absolutely Frankie.
Amongst all the cheering I said there's actually a good chance we will get nothing from any Govt Lot contract. Realistically it's a medium maybe or a hopeful possibility for anything at all from any Lot. Let's hope our luck changes as something material and numerated to announce is sorely needed and hard to find. Hence 12p.
I think it was a decent effort last year all things covid considered. If travel still needs pcr testing into the year end then that should cover any core shortfall and some imo. Ryanair ceo reckons that travel/flying will be very busy in the winter period. So that bodes well at least.
there won't be any then, cos there are plenty of smart arse s on this bb!!
Do we think LR is doing a good job? If not, what else should he be doing? He can't control the sp and most agree that there have been many good rns's over the last year + to back up his good work. So what else can he do. No smart arse comments needed.
Results and presentation in a couple of weeks or so. Won't get anything before then unless it needs a rns.
time LR answered a few questions. Did I read somewhere that someone had written to YGEN. Did they get a reply?
Hemo, don’t be to negative you’ll be filtered by the dictators lmfao.
Agree total disaster, remember the YGEN lovers on here are the YGEN management team trying to suck in new investors by all the positive carp they post. I think I recall this share was going to be 50p last Christmas but ended up at 13p (ish) lol.
It must be a good year or more since the instis invested here at 17p, now 30% down they’ll soon (if not already) be wanting answers, I believe one insti has packed its bags and sold out recently.
Company must be at its lowest ebb right now, 1 whole week and around 30 trades, that tells you how much support and confidence their is for YGEN and its management team, and still no sign of Rees and Hextall.
Don't want it sold just now thanks! Would you be happy with around 16/17p ?
What on earth is going on? How low can the share price go? This is excruciating.
Is there something fundamental we should be worried about that is going to come out of left field?
Just sell the business, give everyone a chance to recover their investment and let's all move on from this complete disaster.
Back to the year's low and a price once unthinkable but now normal.
Newsflow has been rather anemic considering all the avenues available.
Market clearly unimpressed!
Future prospects always bright but as turning the corner gets closer its always been found the road just gets longer. That's the nature of Yourgene, Premaitha.
Find a buyer at 25p+ because the endless future promise is stuck on the road well travelled!
Seems a lot will be resting on forthcoming results and especially T/U. The whole Kung-flu scenario dented the core business, hopefully now recovering and assisted by the covid-testing capacity. Historically,LR has grown his business as an acquirer rather than just organically, so the company to me at least has the feel of presently being an ‘incomplete’ entity: a tie-up here, a touch of oncology there, and still having a limited overall reach, nationwide as well as globally.Perhaps that’s why the “5-year plan” timescale was announced post LR’s arrival.
Any number of big-techs could take out Ygen without breaking stride, such as Illumina with a mkt cap of c$ 72billion, but I think this would only be for seizing the IP rather than being based on current or expected trading.
Personally I am more concerned by the sudden and recent dearth of any meaningful share trades which can always potentially lead to a stock-market exit in the form of a management buy-out. Were this to transpire, one would (fingers crossed) expect a generous price would be paid to shareholders. In LR -and the BOD- we trust. I hope.
as already mentioned, not for a while yet though for me too. Another 12/18 months will be just right. At what price, well who knows, but with a bit of wind behind it, 30p+ sounds good?
Sure thing Dan, if we land some good contracts it would be at a good solid premium too.
If Ygen start to land one or two decent govt contracts then that will make it more likely imo. That would make them a very attractive proposition for a bigger player who want to get into UK govt contracts who maybe aren't there yet. Or of course an outfit who already are and want to consolidate their position.
Threeskins, you never know, it might well happen. Not just yet though ideally.
If only they'd get a move on!
All big hitters, chances are YGEN may be taken out by one of them for market dominance.
Well, you got to be in it to win it. We only need a small % of that market to do over and above any of our expectations.
named in there with the big boys. Let's see if they can live up to that billing?
Twix Lmfao, these are the people that call us out lol, like we've been constantly saying these bully dictators haven't got a fu****g clue.
Great entertainment mate.
Week after next fool
Hey, look. It's blue! Be nice to get a run up to results next week.
Email defo done the trick lol
