Another 30k at 6.37p
I may regret it but can't fathom why LR would buy a million otherwise. Time gonna tell
The more panic the more MM will play on it.
The market makers obv. feel the same.
Was looking like YGEN was holding up quite well before this.
Dear dear
I can't bring myself to buy any more I'm really starting to fear for this company LR you need to sort this.
Twix I hope your confidence pays off for you big balls buying so many in this falling stock.
this is a real car crash at the moment.
Shucks...another 50k at 6.5p
So much cash from past sales I want to average down at these levels even further.
Terrible, but that's my silver lining in this cloud.
Bought 334k in last 3 days alone.
25,000 at 6.5p
Weakness abounds as time marches on without news.
And down we go again!
Should until up again from 16p+ sales.....
And we have a competent person in SS to lead things.
Management have a wonderful opportunity with Ranger that seems to have fallen into their laps somewhat. If they can't make it work after all the fanfare, then changes at the top are inevitable imo. But, I believe it will, does work out well because it's bloody good, as independent bodies have verified.
Oh those days!!
So much to say, BUT in a very rare event I agree with davand...Let's not waste time and effort going back over that debacle. We've been having one of our own where we should concentrate on increasing shareholder value from this pitiful level.
let's not but sandeep liked it!
Let's not drag those days up please .
Twix are you absolutely sure that Viy's revolutionary tech was only a disaster because no one was prepared to pay for it or was it because well , frankly , it did not work well or not at all ?
What I do remember is , the major shareholder , canny Jim Slater got out early and it was all downhill from there!
When labs adopt without even knowing about the cost savings then for me it has a lot going for it. Now with the research report form Laval confirming it all then it's a no brainer for all labs, especially nowadays when money is so scarce. Any savings will be looked into, let alone the millions saved for some of the bigger players. Even if Streck tubes prices came down from nearly $10 a pop to a dollar it's still not as accurate as with Ranger tech.
Agreed. We can find enough to argue about without dredging.
Partnership with Chevron, hmmm! Anyway it's history never to be dragged up again.
That's a different discussion davand.
I think it was revolutionary and we had partnership with Chevron! We had a scattering approach and little focus until too late and oil industry dropped off oking for new reserves etc. There's lots to say and no point now dredging it up other than just Having a good tech/product does not mean it will succeed. That was my point.
Illumina probably spend more on coffee tea and biscuits a month than it would cost to buy Ygen.
or maybe some sort of partnership as that is the way the company is going in future. Looking to partner as opposed to the conventional/usual way of doing business. Be great if Illumina added Ranger it into their workflow on their machines somehow. Vaccine companies (numerous) are already knocking on their door too as Ranger has gained their attention.
management are convinced it's going to do well. They have given it plenty of hype with the countdown clock, 'very excited, disruptive, game changer, at last the wait is over' etc etc. I still think they might get a slice of that govt pcr tender too. No closing date on that so news might come anytime with that. I do take it for granted they have tendered?? LR is confident it's coming, hence the share purchase.
Frankie, it's only been launched recently, many are still to find out about it. They have already converted labs over to it. Going on the research and figures from Laval. it is indeed of interest to any lab out there. Watched the CMD again and there is no doubt Labcorp are convinced in the oncology space. That's where the big money is imv. I would expect them to have it well protected too. Will be easier for Illuimina to buy the company than get around IP if they were interested. They would be buying a profitable company and great IP too. Just need to get rid of all management, there simples!
It wasn't revolutionary though was it. Just pure spin from within the company. Ranger has been independently ratified by no less than Labcorp, Laval and others . That is the big difference here.
You know Vialogy had a Revolutionary tech QRI - Quantum Resonance Interferometry. The problem was getting customers to come on board and pay. Getting the same for Ranger isn't a given when it comes to existing commercial partnerships and contracts, price and inertia.
