Still time yet. He won't have a choice but to announce if an offer of 10%+ comes in.
That’s me out fully now can’t see another offer coming in. Rees won’t want one he’s more than happy to sell us down the road and take up his new job what a t..set
My boss is quite a successful business man. I captain his 50m Feadship. After having spoken to him about the share over the years. That was his opinion. He was pretty confident that in most cases where unscrupulous activity takes place directors are held to account.
Mt. Lawyers say there are a few points they could be taken to task over. Who's your boss anyway and what do they know of the situation?
I'm voting for, as What is the point of voting against and ending up with nothing. Very odd imo. If you want to get back at Rees et al then Andy is the best way.
We won't know if we don't try. Costs nowt. As for no grounds, well misleading the market and shareholders is a pretty good place to start.
Hi Da and, no I haven't contacted Andy. I'm not sure there is a case! On what grounds?
Lawyers will tell you what you want to hear.
I'm with you master blaster. Would rather lose all than see LR make a profit on principle. With regards to the legal route I had a word with my boss who reckons there is zero chance of anything happening. He has gone to say he will give me 10 fold my original investment if anything more than a slap on the wrists takes place
Master, so why end up with zero? Makes Rees a bigger winner..cos you've ended up with nowt . Have you contacted Andrew Kennedy yet? If not why not?
As you say twix, my vote won't make a difference ! More of a protest than anything else. I hope we get a better offer too, but I can't see it. Lyn has run this company into the ground.
Fair enough.
I'd far rather retrieve what I can and hold LR to account via AK and by reputational damage and activism.
Bottom line is only a new bidder for LR to Houdini some salvation imv
Twix I'm not in as deep as you, but I still have 3.4 million shares. I will be taking a big loss.
I expect being prepared to taking a 100% loss indicates you ha w a relatively small holding as you've been around for some time. Fortunately then your vote us immaterial in the grand scheme.
The way to go is vote in favour, back Andrew Kennedy and meanwhile pray for another bidder to enter with a 10%+ higher offer in spite of what appears to be a weaker than hoped effort from LR who I suspect is content with Novacyt and his secured position with them.
If we do not get a single new bidder then I hope everyone joins in with AK's litigation effort. LR you are being judged because we all know we can achieve a better price!!
Well I've just voted against all resolutions.
I'll take the hundred percent loss, just so that scumbag Lyn doesn't benefit.
We can all agree Ygen is worth more, but the old saying, it's only worth what someone is willing to pay. At this point it's around £23M Inc the TF payoff.
Otherwise Ncyt will pick this up out of admin for a tenth of the price. BGF sees fit to agree, so that tells you everything.
For those planning to vote NO.....if there's no other bids you're voting against means if successful we will effectively be a basket case of NOTHING!
Surely the way to go is vote in favour, back Andrew Kennedy and meanwhile keep fingers crossed for a new bidder to appear.
It may stick in the throat but our saviour is only a new bidder. Not a Turkey voting for Xmas. aimho
I hope Twix that is the case mate :)
Well I sure hope it's busy work behind the scenes with the multiple bidders who ate falling over themselves to secure Ranger and a growing core business currently under an underwhelming cash offer less than 1 times revenue!!
LOL
"Working for shareholders and being sincere".. ha ha!
Typos
that doesn't mean it comes to pass.....
blocks we may encounter...
So
we may (I pray) get an offer tabled..... if they are genuinely seeking one or if one is inspired anyway by their lacklustre but required efforts.
What i am sure of is if no offer tabled they will have ticked all the boxes to safeguard themselves. LR needs to finally demonstrate he's working for shareholders and being sincere!
Indeed Optimistic Guy.
So what! You've spent your whole time making such statements and I'm sure we would (all) agree. That does mean it comes to pass and history and experience demonstrates that.
I'm sure we could get a better offer but not if LR isn't leading a serious attempt and throwing the kitchen sink at it and my growing assumption is he is quite content with Novacyt and his negotiated role. That means he must still table any higher offers but he controls all the aspects of the information flow and efforts employed.
No matter how attractive we are and Ranger makes us...we don't know if shareholder interests are really top priority or if we will simply hear it proved impossible to agree terms within specified deadline.
imv a higher offer is there to be agreed. I'm just not sure how much secret resistance and blocks or may encounter whilst LR tells us everything is looking good......Deja-vu
Ygen is being sold far below the fair value. Look at the report / view on simplywall "Price-To-Sales vs Industry: YGEN is good value based on its Price-To-Sales Ratio (0.5x) compared to the UK Medical Equipment industry average (3.3x)"
https://simplywall.st/stocks/gb/healthcare/aim-ygen/yourgene-health-shares/valuation
Davand...if we got a materially improved offer i would frankly be less minded to go after LR than if we didn't.
"...even if there was a higher offer it would be tabled to the shareholders?"
so what you mean Optimistic Guy is ".... it wouldn't be tabled"
to answer...of course it would be tabled but I suspect it's not really sought so proposition would be subtely downplayed and may even try to make it quietly unpalatable. Simply I conclude Lyn cannot be trusted.
