I don't understand why we're kept waiting for trading update! Unless they're waiting on some important news. If we get an update next week the damage will already done. We need to have a big covid contract with the update now, or this will drop after update.
Apologies I had expected some detailed news by now. Looks realistically next week though I do hope it is not the end of the week. I guess the comparison to NCYT is apt, given that it has reached £10 whereas we are still awaiting after 6 months for a detailed update, which should allow a proper broker rating without caveats for omission. Frustrations aside this should hopefully recover back to its trend line.
I had supplied this link 3 days ago.

This is Cambridge Clinical Laboratories (CCL) where the CEO (Dr Anthony Cook) is the CEO of Recova-19. I had mentioned him a few days ago. Tony Cooke appeared on ITV5 a few days ago. My understanding is that CCL has 3 Department of Health and Social Care contracts.

Tony Cooke is a Director of Recova-19 which is sharing the platform with YourGene in the webinar this week. It would seem very strange if Cambridge Clinical Laboratories (CCL) is not then using the Clarigene test in part.
The mentioning that the Ask had not been reduced is I was also wanting to top up. However with a limit of £5 per penny movement, a large spread and an Ask higher than the sp it was a bit too hard
Notaflipper - great post. Puts a real sense of perspective on the big picture.
Apologies for typo as commuting. Bid been reduced, the Ask has remained firm at circa 22p.
Although I share much of the frustrations of the the comms here I do feel that this BB is getting a bit too worked up and sounding worse than an AA support group now. It has to be said that the filter list has been added to this week
Fact is that the trading update is due imminently. I expect this week. The Align Research note suggests a DCF valuation suggests a 54% upside and a target price of 26.63p per share. However, this target valuation ignores the company’s focus on expansion with the acquisition of Coastal Genomics and has also discounted for additional sales through the IONA Nx and and DYPD. So there is more of a risk for upside than downside and that an updated broker note should be expected. As tedious as it is to hear of PIs attempts to swing trade for smaller margin, we should bear in mind that these invariably are the practices of small holders and their opinions are a dime a dozen on these BBs.
It seems somewhat incredible that PIs (especially LTHs) who've held on for 6 months are now faltering in the final days. What I do find interesting is that among spread betting firms despite the Ask being reduced in the last few weeks with the SP weakening, the Bid has remained firm at circa 22p. So despite any potential pull back following the TU the general direction of the sp has to be upward. Although one can expect commonly 20% reduction in child births during a recession, with a diversified portfolio covering oncology, NIPT and COVID, this stock is a defensive stock. The main reason for LTHs then to sell if if after 6 years they have become stale, especially with the IR, or they consider better short term opportunities in the current market. Here again it can be observed that one never hears of anyone on LSE loosing money and views on whether a vaccine is imminent or a further market downside is inevitable seem to be interchangeable on an hourly basis.
I do feel that this TU will throw up some surprises despite the limitations that a PCR lamp test has. I had mentioned the Recova connection to the East Kent Hospitals University NHS Foundation Trust a few days ago. This trust performs Covid tests at the Kent and Canterbury Hospital, William Harvey Hospital Ashford, Royal Victoria Hospital Folkestone, Queen Elizabeth the Quuen Mother Margate and Buckland Hospital Dover and Tunbridge Wells Hospital. It would be interesting to learn from the Company if via Recova the Clarigene test is being performed in these hospitals.
All the best in the coming days.
