Looks like this was a late reported buy .. presumably this triggered the up-tick!
22-Jan-20 10:15:40 13.952 250,000 Sell* 13.75 14.25 34.88k
Can anyone get a fixed price to buy more than 100 shares?! Tick up soon perhaps?!
Look at the large sells throughout the day yesterday, especially the 400k and 500k in the last few minutes of trading. Surprising actually the price held up as much as it did. There may be more to follow today but I’ve invested further.
Trend wise this was expected to retrace back towards 13.5 or even towards 13.10; but the recent drop is the sharpest yet and a little surprising. unless there is a good reason (e.g. decent RNS about porespective clients etc resulting from recent Asian EXPO) then this should dip towards 13.10 before rising again.
As TruroTrader says; it's a rollercoaster ride but ever upwards from here I hope.
I view it as a good top-up opportunity :-)
Hi phuckerty, as Steve67 said about "crappy RNSs just to prop up the SP but that's exactly what they look like". We are on a continuous upward path in both revenue and profits. The share price will always fluctuate but the recent fall is off an historic high and that will always happen at some point.
It's the old YO-YO and going up stairs analogy. The YO-YO is always up and down but the stairs are always up.
Maybe a few nerves over the 22m shares that changed hands on Friday? But we should get a holdings RNS to explain that very soon!
Just looking at the chart, IMO it needs to test 14p for support.
Fundamentals are good, growth is strong ... If I didn't have so many already, I'd be buying!
TT no neither can I but can't help wondering why the SP is going in the wrong direction.
Any thoughts?
Hi Goggins, as you say gains nearly all gone. Could I ask what communication you think the company could have done to capitalise on the tip? If you re-read the tip it actually covered quite a detailed broad range of information. Can't really see what they could have added.
What do you expect them to say? So many AIM companies put out crappy RNS's just to try to prop up the SP but that's exactly what they look like. Surely what really matters is growth and making the numbers!
FWIW, it feels like it's just taking a breather, will maybe touch 14 which will then become support and we'll head north again ...
The SP Slightly up from the 3rd of jan prior to Midas share tip.
The gains from the 6th of Jan (post tip) are nearly all gone.
ANY other company would have capitalised on it..... But nope.... incommunicado. Again.
