We'll just have to see - I'd love for them to test everyone for our sake but at the rate we are led to believe TUI and Easyjet are currently booking flights , I can foresee a bottleneck - just the right time to get back into 'Angling Direct' - TIP of the day!
Have a nice Thursday - Dan
the rules as I understand them, is that everyone returning from abroad will need two PCR tests, unless they are coming in from a RED zone, which they are put up in a quarantine hotel @ around £1750 a pop.
The two PCR tests are to be taken on day 2 and day 8 I think it is. I don't think there is any need to take anything at the airport.
Unless things have changed then that's how I see it,
There won't be a problem testing all these people imo!
Think your wrong Dan.
Those that are flying to countries that require a negative PCR test for entry will get tested. There are already hundreds of private testing providers.
The rules on testing on return to UK are not yet know once holiday travel is given the go ahead. If some form of testing is required there will be plenty of supply to meet whatever demand is needed.
Hi Bakky
Have you seen how many people go on holiday. Christ - it's hard enough getting through security without missing your flight. We're talking about testing and quarantining, then retesting if necessary hundreds of thousands of people every week in the summer - it ain't going to happen.
BUT - I do believe that it will still be needed for many other purposes and we will see the mecca of the 7 sided coin appear before us and the mirage will turn to silver.
why is it not possible to test travellers, there are plenty of providers around?
Do we honestly believe that if the country opens up to anything like normal summer flight vacation numbers then everyone is going to need to get a PCR test - it's simply not going to be logistically possible - I hope it makes us lots of money but is Boris going to have to u-turn again?
Yours sincerley
Dan - who as you know is a long term holder - sold 1/3rd of his holding to turn this mo fo around and really wants to see 50p like everyone else - big love.
