2s will be seen this afternoon. Told you it was a dead cat bounce yesterday. This will be worth buying at 2.50, so it will be soon. Buy cheap sell higher. GLA
Yea, i noticed the roast boys have gone quiet. And Bird has 100% given them a 'heads up' on news in the past!
Saying that, it could be anyone for any reason....
Colin wants 750 mill for it all and JV has only come up with 495 mil,
so slowly getting there Ha ha
I never thought we would see the 2s again!
Hopefully bounce off 3p!?
Ben - Firstly, it wasn't me that sold! But I have added to my holding with some money that became for a short term(ish) investment. Perhaps the seller is in a similar position and needed the money back... we all have different circumstances.
The fact is that we were told that XTR was to complete the modelling by the end of May and would be presenting to AA. The target date has been and gone, we've had radio silence from CB ever since, and investor nerves are now jangling. Whilst the vast majority of shareholders are holding tight, it is also plain to see they are not adding. If the most knowledgeable shareholders don't have the confidence to add at these super low prices, then it is no wonder no new blood is being drawn and the SP is where it is. We are in irons and going nowhere until we get some news to renew the confidence.
I've just emailed CE to make sure he is OK . I doubt he will be selling tbh.
If / when I get a reply I'll confirm the situation.
That crossed my mind Gixxer, he does have colins phone number and chats to him. I don't belive that would be the case but who knows?
The roast guys and zak have all gone quiet aswell.
Mmmmmm??
"Why would you sell at the bottom though..."
I can only assume they have now come to conclusion this wont be going higher for some time and that they can make more money somewhere else. Which could be true in the short term. Or maybe they don't think this is the bottom?
The danger is thinking that someone else knows something that we dont (ie bad news coming). If there was a leak then we would be seeing millions of shares sold every hour - not this trickle (relatively v shares in issue) of sells.
A more benign reason, could be, nothing more than, someone has to now pay for a very expensive holiday and they left the sell too late and were unlucky with the timing of the fall??.
I think Capt Bob said he had to sell 1m to 1.5m or so, for his house extension??
CE selling? Been some time since he posted.
Well that's frustrating. Just as we had a little swing to the upside. Why would you sell at the bottom though...
Well someone has just lost patience...3 x 500K sells in quick succession !
No, a ten year bl**dy odyssey ! (ongoing)
What, a company with a £578m mcap?
I hope it does in value, that’s why I’m here. All the other SOLG bits / history I don’t know huge amounts about and don’t want to - come on XTR!
I just hope it doesn't turn into SOLG......
Andrew - Thank you for your input, seems to be we're on the same page of understanding. As for your last paragraph I couldn't agree more.

This question was asked a few weeks ago.
The range went from Q1 2023 to Q3 2023 with mid 2023 most common prediction. But obviously those are just best guesses as no one really knows what the next news event will be which could change things. Maybe 9 to 12 months away is most likely but who knows?
I would be surprised, now, if it were this year . I think it likely that with the market the way it is, many may think the buyout will be put back and that may explain why some have sold and gone to the next "quick win" share. Aim punters have short time horizons and they may not have wanted to wait a bit longer.
If the buy-out is sooner than I and many think, then those that have temporarily left may have made a very costly mistake :)
'Not the death of a thousand lashes' - so I've heard...
LTH here, What's everyone's thoughts on the time scale for the final sale. Nice to get peoples opinions.

Anyone considering Ted may have actually been paying me a compliment, think again as he insulted me last year by calling me an ‘enthusiastic liar’ :-))
Who me? No surely not never
Wouldn't the world of social media etc be a lot less horrible if everyone's name and address where obtainable!
Ted no longer interested in banging on about one of his copper plays on the moon or half way up Everest so tries to insult.
"Tries" really is the operative word here - how does being a woman in any shape or form lessen howezap's argument. Ridiculous. Join the rest of us in the 21st century or you might lose your ability to use multiple accounts...
if rick jumped out of the burning house would we get a dead rick bounce ? ;)
The point of drilling Footrot was to confirm it is mineralised. Wether a hole or two, show weak to medium or medium to strong mineralisation will not have any real bearing on its additional value.
It’s certainly not a dud.
I would be very interested to see confirmation as to where exactly the hole shown being drilled in the photo that showed the power line in the background. (Page6 of the report) that could very well have been testing a further anomoly, otherwise Ascot is way way bigger than the signature from the EM sweep that was done early on across the whole area to footrot. The EM by drone signature was the one that showed the parallel zone and the south east anomoly (Ascot) in the conceptual pit presentation last year.
Latest IP lines were only laid across southern extension of. RC and Ascot, not to say that further anomalous targets were not shown nearby of course.
Stevemocal,
My concern is that the gold seams in Ascot are thin and although there may be a lot of gold there we may well miss the seams if the drills are wrongly directed or just plain unlucky. Footrot on the other hand has not shown anything to get excited about at this time and could well be a dud.
I would however, like to see the latest IP results as if there are additional porphyries in the area, that could be the key.
Can't help thinking that CB is keeping that data quiet although if he is, I think it is for good strategic reasons.
Is 'holder' a euphamism that I'm not aware of?
