"It going to be pretty embarrassing for him if/when he finally has to admit he's led the market astray with regards to 2Mt @RC"
Will it be embarrassing though IF we declare 1.4mt to 1.6Mt but not 2mt ? Yes CB would have been deliberately deceptive (being kind there) but that resource should see a buyout of 10p min.
Who will be that bothered about previous comment if sp it 10P?
I would think that the only people who would be bothered would be those that sold out well below 10p
Makes sense, all the best
I have and will continue to sell into rises. Simple as that.
Gixxer
I’m all for having a rant and to be honest I think this is a better place for it than most others, but you have clearly lost faith in CB so I don’t get how you can keep any money invested with him other than FOMO?
Cheers
James
i at least thought the sp will move after we can show full capacity and 3months results, was not expecting anything sooner really.
I'd take 9p and be happy TBH - Just to escape Bird's constant BS.
I was REALLY hoping the news that Manica was producing would push the SP up and I could escape....
10p, not a fricking chance .
It going to be pretty embarrassing for him if/when he finally has to admit he's led the market astray with regards to 2Mt @RC. - As i've mentioned before, I feel the DTM would not be a good move for us as it plays into the hands of AA who for sure will not play fair and be looking to get this, should they want it, at a 'rock' bottom price.
IMO he's in damage limitation mode now relying on Ascot to get his gob/himself out of the sh*t. Ascot may well prove to outshine RC though and I and he may, for once at XTR, make us $$ in the end. Or at least the geo's/drilling teams on the ground will. I feel they've done a fantastic job to date!
The problem many of us LTH's have learned, the hard way, is that it's never a good thing when his gob is not running overtime telling us 'just a few more months....' that just a few more months has been years.
How many would jump at 10p now??
Interesting comments about those who have agendas and whose posts are motivated as such
Having been here, like many LTH’s for years, we’ve seen many posters come and go over the years. The transparent rampers and bashers are easy to spot as their agenda is not hidden. The ones that are harder to spot are the ones who tend to be more subtle.
The subtle ramper will try and discredit anyone who tries to express any real concern or identify risk. The counter narrative will usually be that “they are obviously trying to get a lower entry point“
I think it would be wrong if anyone tried to imply that AndyMillsy or Iceberg were a basher, just because they have said, on more than one occasion, that they think CBs comms is poor and so is his expectation management.
That said, maybe for some a “basher” is someone who makes any negative comment. After all, that wont help them get the sp up and help him or her ameliorate their loses if they had started investing here at a much higher sp prior to the drop.
I actually think there is a real chance that CB has been deliberately deceptive with many of his comments over the last year and that we wont be getting anything like the buy out SP he has implied. I may be wrong and I hope I am.
.But I also think this has a very good chance of going over 10p (at least) within a year, either from buy-out or a spike, so that would make it a very good investment at current sp.
I appreciate that view doesn’t fall nicely into the category of basher or ramper. It wasn’t supposed to. It was just my honest opinion.
And if my opinion, or anyone else’s posts here are motivating someone to buy or sell – then they are a complete idiot.

>>do you believe what Colin bird says?
I don't believe Bird believes what he says.....
The reason the sp is so low is purely because no-one believes we have what it takes to sell to AA.
Why? Probably because we don't know yet for one and for two Colin said we were selling it and now we are drilling more. which brings up the issue of why? Is it because we don't have enough or because Colin doesn't want to give away a cadia?
Number 3.... is Number 1 and 2 combined....... do you believe what Colin bird says?
I can tell you now! The SP will react when the RNS from AA states their buying it, why? Because when AA tell you something, its happening.
Hahaha that made me laugh littlewing. That forum is bad but I still don't think it makes a difference to the sp.
Ella10... nicely put
Steve... I think you are being overly sensitive to some healthy criticism regarding our investment. Perhaps you should visit A D V F N to see what negative really is.
Well Ella from LSE doesn't believe that! I like to read both the positives and negative to allow me to do any research I feel necessary. The board does feel very negative at the moment. I have always thought Andrew's posts were informed and grounded and appreciate the information he posts. Everyone wants to know what the resource looks like. I do think with costs on the rise that the lower grades are a concern. I am not convinced we have 2mT at Racecourse. However, I do think we have a huge resource but I would like to see that quantified sooner rather than later.
We are only getting 90p now... keep up
The reason the SP is down is not due to use chatting on this forum. If it was the sp would have hit 30p at some point due to all the ramping we have done. And if Ella from telegram would have you believe, we are getting £1 a share for bushranger.
The quality of the primary source of information and communication is the whole point of recent unrest here !
Steve, I am on telegram and know about the UTs as you posted about them, aswell as telling everyone not to worry about the drop in SP as only 0.3% of share have been sold etc. It doesn't make a difference how many shares are sold
...I only care about the SP.
I moan on here, along with everyone else because if you say anything bad on telegram, you get kicked out. I am a long term holder and have only sold and bought back once in many years and that was just after the final accounts, this year. As you may remember I was on holiday in paris and was furious. I came on here and vented furiously but that was two days before I sold 40ks worth of shares. I then bought them back a few days later as fomo kicked in and I managed to bag about 7k in profit..... yes I berated xtract before I sold!!!
Steve, I have no problem with you at all and think you are a great and valued poster.... but everyone is entitled to thier opinion even if it opposed to yours. Some people are obvious de-rampers with obvious objectives to get the price down. I for one don't care what people say on these boards because I don't believe it makes a single bit of difference to the share price, hence why I berated xtract and Colin before I sold shares.
In fact, its quite ironic that the same people complaining about Colin's communication style are spending their own time ensuring that this forum, which should be a source of information and communication for new shareholders, creates a terrible first impression of the company and therefore damages their own investment (if they have one). Interesting strategy.
Perhaps Colin has moved to telegram in that case ;-)
>> Steve... you clearly have not been in XTR long enough to pass that sort of unwarranted judgement on long term posters on here.
What has that got to do with anything? The forum is filled with complains and little in the way of the type of constructive discussion and research that we used to see. I don't need years of experience to see that. In fact, the people most influenced by the current state of this forum are the potential new investors that read all the complaints about Colin and XTR and go elsewhere instead.
>> I meant to add before... the SP is where it is WITH the FB boost.
What FB Boost? It seems that CB has deliberately said nothing about FB, apart from a throwaway line. Any potential new investor is unlikely to know anything about FB income. He appears to be saving that news for when it will make a difference.
>> lso Colin made a point of showing disappointment that cash raises are difficult with low SPs
Yes, but for BZT! Xtract is in a totally different situation thanks to FB. He stated only a month ago that we didn't need to raise in the next 12 months. As I said, distorted reality.
Steve... you clearly have not been in XTR long enough to pass that sort of unwarranted judgement on long term posters on here.
I meant to add before... the SP is where it is WITH the FB boost. Also Colin made a point of showing disappointment that cash raises are difficult with low SPs. I hope that disappointment doesn't out-weigh the disappointment of having the buy-back thwarted !
