The IFB deal is supposed to launch in Q4 so we should get an update on that..
That will save us.
Looks like basically every trade this week made by the public has been a sale. Unless things turn around this is going to be 3p by xmas.
From the January business update.
In order to be capable of meeting the deadlines specified in the UK draft legislation, which is consistent with that of France, domestic washing machine manufacturers will need to have machines ready for sale in 2024 with production planning for these commencing in late 2022. The Company expects that OEMs wishing to take a lead in the field will look to have machines for consumers available in 2023.
The words of Xeros not mine.
Hmmm now hang on a dang cotton picking minute, it’s late 2022 now! if Xeros are right and granted that’s not often the case and said OEM’s are not using XFilter what the hell are they using ? I invite you to draw your own conclusions from that… how difficult is it to create a filter, asking for a,, well me..
When I wrote to the MP regarding 'over 90% fibre capture V's 99%' I sent the same text to Xeros. I've had a reply from Xeros:
'Many thanks for your message and support on the Microplastic Filters Bill which is returning to the House of Commons (Wed 2nd Nov). We work closely with Alberto Costa MP and the APPG and our main aim is to continue to provide scientific advice on effective microfibre filtration to them to allow them to put continued pressure on the UK government to legislate.
Earlier this year, Hohenstein, a highly respected testing institute for the textile industry, accredited XFilter with the highest level of performance, capturing over 99% of microplastics. In-house tests show XFilter has a capture rate of over 80% for polycotton microfibres. Cotton can be very challenging to filter as the smaller microfibres that break off from cotton escape more easily through the mesh. In addition, the fragmented nature of the fibres means that as they are captured, they begin to form a ‘cake’ or film on the filter which leads to premature blockages, often before one wash cycle is even finalised. Our XFilter technology is uniquely designed to minimise this film build-up – allowing much more time between emptying the collected microfibres. XFilter stops over 90% of all microfibres, not just plastics, from escaping into our wastewater.
Please let us know if you have any further queries.
Kind regards'
The microplastics bill is being heard again in the House of Commons tomorrow
well done D, lets hop you can get into some constructive dialogue with them.
Just sent to Alberto Costa MP's office:
'Hi there,
I found Alberto Costa MP due to his work on a new law to filter plastic micro fibres in washing machines.
I notice this on your ( https://www.albertocosta.org.uk/news/alberto-progresses-microplastics-bill-parliament ) site: 'Xeros Technology Group, who focus on providing the technology to manufacturers to integrate into washing machines, have a solution called XFiltra that can capture more than 90% of microfibre plastics from the wash cycle.'
Going to the Xeros site they actually seem to make a better filter than the 'more than 90%'; they claim over 99%: 'Our filtration technology captures over
99% of microplastics' which you can see here: https://www.xerostech.com/filtration/
Maybe you could mention the 'more than 99%' as the British company then beats Grundig / BEKO, which I assume is not British. I've been to the Grundig site and they do indeed only claim 90% themselves: 'World’s 1st Integrated Microfibre Filter
Grundig washing machines with FiberCatcher® technology catch up to 90% of microfibres during synthetic wash cycles' https://www.grundig.co.uk/fiber-catcher
I am now following Mr Costa MP on Twitter to see how the Bill proceeds, assuming it hasn't been lost in the changes of PM.'

This British washing machine company was mentioned on the BBC TV news this week. Apparently Boris was a regular visitor when PM. I wondered if they have a microfibre filter and if so, what sort. Seems they don't but they do support legislation. Apparently they already reduce their output of microfibres by needing less water to run a wash. I think this sums up their position (and their washers look to be good ones btw):

You have probably never invested in a stock in your life! Especially AIM if you think loses arnt expected.
I called you crazy because you kept going on about itching to buy in here when it was 30p, almost encouraging people to buy in when this drop was obviously coming..
You need to tone down your Language before you get reported by the way…
Whatever Grace. You called me crazy asking if anyone on here was following stock down. The stock Has collapsed. I have still yet to buy in. Quite an interesting company imop, but market conditions are tough.
Anyone whom proclaims they have no problem with cash or losing money is no problem is normally a person whom is Not true to themselves.
Ha! good one Grace. :0))
What makes you think it’s hard earned?
Grace You are correct in making the decision not to use your hard earned cash on any other future stock market investments.
Regards
33.3% take up, always wonder why people take up these things, 9 times out of 10 the price drops below the offer.
I guess we'll have a 'major stakeholder notification' shortly and that will be more noticeable.
A transaction has just gone through for 15% of the company. Looks like a buy. Interesting, particularly as it’s above the placing price
Just for your info, Gregpeck7 lost a lot of money on Eve today. Like other people did. But the difference with GP7 is that he ramped and pumped and then he ramped eve again to save his own skin, to get out ahead of the others.
Never believe a word that GP7 writes on this BB or others. Check out his history. He's a bully too, but not very successful there either.
I imagine he'll be back as he lacks any sense of embarrassment I'm afraid. Why he feels it appropriate to post here is a Q you'd have to ask him.
LOLing so HARD!
You got Wyndrum "and" Mrs D Geeman here too!
They really do "follow" each other around.
Suggest you all look at the boards they inhabit. Looks like the same person to me... Miraculous how they find themselves always on the same boards...
They are like a poor double act that festers on any BB they are involved with.
I have lost so much on this I just can’t justify putting any more whatever the cost. I just don’t see why the share price tanked so much, surely as legislation gets closure the price should increase? The question is why haven’t a hot point or Samsung taken exclusive rights on this?
Well, modest amount though it is, I have just put my name down for my entitlement too. Broke my rule on 'new money' into my PF too, but would be a shame to miss out when filters in washers are coming to Europe soon.
It’s a fair point but it’s not always possible to get large trades off, I’d be interested to see what institutional investors didn’t take up there options as they are likely looking for an exit strategy.. also there isn’t much room for manoeuvre, they can’t get to breakeven without at least one more raise,… literally one bad RNS will see investors run like rats from a sinking ship.. but like you say market cap is low so if they somehow change the habit of a life and get there ducks in a row it could mutibag. Just think there are way better options out there right now.
Grace, Why would anyone be hanging on now. They have had weeks to sell at 5p. (sure if the SP went to 7p then that might well flush out some profit takers, I am just trying to gauge how strong 5p is likely as a support.)
good luck with that if you think there are still no sellers looking for an exit.
The MCAP is now so low that any good RNS with commercial agreements will see this rerate significantly. Risk/reward is favourable, but most have had their fingers burned so are understandably put off
