Morning guys....I'm new to posting but responding to requests for collaboration..... I hold 1.5 million shares and intend riding this out to wherever it goes. I'm a Very Strong Hold if there is such a thing! All for one;one for all!!
Credit it where it's due Geckoman - it was ccrobins yesterday that got us all thinking about what we might achieve collectively. This only started yesterday afternoon... your holding now takes us our little group to over 1% of the total shares in issue, and all held by people on this forum who definitely intend to hold. It's nowhere near the 10% that we would need to prevent PDJ BidCo obtaining 90% outright. However, I wonder how many other shareholders there are on here who might benefit from the publicly available information that's been collated on how those larger shareholders take things up to very near 25% - That would prevent the supposedly 'inevitable' de-list, and give us all a chance of recouping some of the money we've all invested in a company that clearly has massive potential, and a potential that the directors seem rather keen on capitalising on, but rather without the people that have invested in their company. over the past few years.
.
Though I sold all my ISA, I still have 101k shares. Count me in for holding on. Good for you for suggesting this, synth.
Well, I suppose that's what the directors want you to think, and exactly the course of action that they're hoping people will take.
I am an amateur "investor" and learned my part time trade doing evening classes, but unfortunately after this share purchase. I would have done more homework on this share before I purchased it. Couple of basic observations: Half year net profits circa £300k for fy13/14 before provisions so full year could be £600k. Broker forecast is £2m. Was a Profit warning around the corner? Retained earnings for the group is negative £29m. At the current rate of profits this company will not be able to pay dividends for 50 years which is what long term investors look for and who ultimately drive demand and steady consistent growth in share price. It is againt the companys act to pay dividends unless there is positive retained earnings. Unless they get a court approval to do so. Any thoughts?
Own - 332,550 @ 1.5p Will sell next week as the writing is on whe wall.
I hold 207000 Not really sure anything can be done now?? Not happy!
Thanks for info, have registered just to say i am holding I have 1.3 million shares averaging @ .85, good to know a few others are thinking the same.. good luck to all
Dear staunch XPS Holders: Please check the following publicly available information to help you decide whether to 'Hold'... There are *still* some fairly major individual shareholders out there (amounting to a total of almost 25%) who are either holding, and/or purchasing new stock above PJ's "offer" price - in addition, there are many "little people" still unaccounted for... Since yesterday, we have, ourselves, been able to account for 1% of "little people" determined to Hold. www.dropbox.com/s/2leobegwtwlgorc/f4ds1s4f83d9h5d.png
Does anyone have any more information to share regarding "us little people" and/or investment/fund managers with holdings in XPS? Will share my findings of publicly available data from RNS/forum posts ASAP. I hope it makes for interesting reading, and will help inform decisions on whether it is a sound idea to 'Hold'
Peter Jones purchased a further 2,816,023 XPS shares on 14-02-14 www.peterjones.com/media/94/1794-8dd1702.pdf
I have 600,000 not decided whether to hold or sell for the usual reasons. Problem is PJ has already said he intends to incorporate DataSelect into Expansys and pay himself in shares which will again dilute the SP so either wau he wins and we lose. He is treating us like s h i t.
AJ you dont have to sell however if PJ manages to get the 75% needed to delist then you will be left with shares in a company which isnt trading on any exchange so you will find it hard to sell. However if somehow he can be stopped gaining that percentage he may need to up the offer to take the remaining shares needed to take the company private with some hope.
I will try and look into the shareholdings of any major institutions and see if I can contact them with a view to see how they want to progress the situation. Will post back anything here I manage to dig out.
300,000 and holding.
Good on you harvey12 I have some info for all you holding stalwarts. Watch This Space People Hold On!
I have 28,123 shares but paid just over 7p,going to hold
Only 10,000 here but paid a high price for them, had an email from my broker saying that I've been offered 0.62p a mere £62 do I have to sell? Regards AJ
2 million here @ 0.98
So far, this afternoon alone, we can account for 0.6% of shares owned by forum posters in this thread who intend to 'Hold' Let's continue to hold on, people.
2.56 mill here and holding.
a group would be great although I don't believe I know enough to set it up however I will certainly support it and do what I can if someone who understands things more has the time to do this? we maybe small individually but united we can be heard
Apologies.
Great idea Az_2012, and welcome! Holders: We know of 'Threadneedle Management' and 'Medical Debenture' combined, holding over 10% Are there any other large investors that we know of? Can anyone post definite numbers of holdings? I'm putting together a spreadsheet of known holders. So far, I can account for 14% of shares of definite holders, plus TM and DB.
