*23rd July
Evening Mos, hope all is good with you.
re next week's webinar, i'd be rather surprised if there wasn't a further update prior to that.
The video seemed pretty much like a predetermined set of questions and PF didn't exactly go off track.
I'm probably wrong but, as you say, not much of a shareholder webinar if what we currently know doesn't alter slightly before 24th July.

Welcome to the WSG board.
Even though you are new here, your guess is as good as anybody’s regarding predictions.
We’ve had the AGM statement, a trading update, Peter Fowler video and next week a webinar, all within a month. I can’t work out what he can add at the webinar that’s new.
If you bought shares in March when the price was below 10p then you should be able to relieve the boredom fairly soon by selling out on any rise.
Some of us have been here for years, so don't expect much to change after two months.
Predictions for the next couple of months?
Been holding since March most boring share..
In my experience exclusivity deals with Arenas, Stadia etc are very unusual. Companies need preferred supplier status to negotiate contracts. Unless Dominic Cummings is involved :-)
I think the days you can buy shares below 10p are fast running out....but then again I am sure some will not agree....GLA whatever.
Did sound like there is either an RNS coming, or a contract update on website on the SL “kit” that was mentioned, when he said he’d be putting details out into public domain. But I doubt that’s huge money - but always happy to be proved wrong.
I can’t see there being another raise - purely on the basis that Fooler can call down another 1.5 million on the mezzanine loan.
I wonder what the shortfall currently stands at on the monthly amount we get from River/YA for the 14 million shares they had earlier in the year. We should be getting 145k a month, but based on SP I doubt we’re getting more than 100k. Leaves a gap in the money coming in that’s supposed to be repaying the loan we took out that was supposed to be paying the CULNs, which didn’t happen. No wonder we’ve got 1.6 million in the bank - we’ve also got plenty of loans to pay.
I think thats a "No" ozzie..... Why did Pete do that Podcast yesterday, it made no sense being so close to the Webinar, he just regurgitated what we all ready knew apart from the odd slip regarding "kit for SL" and Ghana.....PLus it was interesting he said the world had moved on from screening to sanitisation..... is that better for WSG?.....Menzies is more jam and he "hopes" to crack on with some MSCs post lockdown...... I am unsure what rabbits he has lined up for next week. B
That all depends on whether the webinar next week is preceded by anything new......
Pete has had his AGM... no tick up. He has had his Advertising campaign..... no tick up..... he has had his "successful" POC with menzies...... no tick up............ he has had his H1 [unaudited] trading update....... no tick up.......... he has had his podcast explaining all his successes to "nice Andy" .....erm..... no tick up............ we have the podcast next week, anyone want to guess if there will be a tick up......B
Interesting comment on Menzies trial though. Ended last week and now in discussions on where they go next. Said he was very pleased with his it had gone. Sounds like a viable option there for some more business in the near term.
3P that Andrew chap is always agony to watch and listen to. excessively sycophantic every time.
So the vending machines appear to have done nothing since they are still hoping to roll them out.
Agree that clearly KSA is not imminent.
Don’t have concerns about a raise though. Cash position is strong m, especially when combined with stock levels.
Off out to enjoy another red day tomorrow. Now FOMO this time it seems.
Relieved that WSG is supplying "various bits of kit" for Lungi. I've had that familiar sinking feeling for a couple of weeks now that we would have missed out on the one deal that should have been a shoe-in.
H1 "very profitable". Let's hope we can nail him down to some figures next Wednesday, although not holding my breath.
"Helping enormously" with sanitisation in Ghana? Did PF mean Ghana in general or was that in reference to just Tema? Let's be pessimistic on that one and assume WSG is adding covid-19 sanitisation to its security service at Tema.
I wish he wouldn't keep flashing his eyes when he says something positive - reminds me of a gorilla trying to attract a mate. Ah, yes, I get it, a primeval signal to potential investors. Hasn't worked yet.
PF = Big hat no cattle.
Go away and deliver on core business or pack it in. Would get on famously with Boris.
Yes Dodger, can't see need to fund raise. But have said that before. Just feel Fowler has gone into full ramp mode.. I suspect that cash raise would be convince new customers that they are not about to go bust next anytime soon or 'finance' next MOU... Im not adding anything here am I, sorry GL
Does the interviewer work for wsg or SP Angel ? Talk about giving leading questions.....
listening to the video you would think we should be 90p not 9p......Pete very happy and wants more of the same in H2..... so that means the sp stays at 9p then Pete......... FFS, he pi55es me off with his super achievements that never seem to translate in to a sp rise. Should have been asked about shareholder value.....worried that he said he "hoped" about getting going on the MSC front...... means nothing brewing in KSA yet I suspect. well at least we have sanitisation and vending machine sales to look forward to. B
They have ÂŁ1.6m of cash at 30th June - would have some explaining to do if they fund rise.
Maybe they are generating cash now - more likely BS though.
Interesting
"Were you profitable in the period?"
"We were indeed. VERY profitable in fact"
Sorry guys, hope I'm wrong, all signs now point to another fund raise. Rinse repeat, once ramped and raised, will be quite again for months. Like I say, hope am wrong but leopard and all that. LTHs will know when this will occur. GL
