“ Revenue from 1t of tin at a price of $35500 is $18105 ($35500*0.519) then there is a smelt charge typically around 10% reducing the actual revenue per ton to $16294.”
Smelting? Why would wres pay for smelting? Did you just make that up?
Sorry, it was August I should have said. .
The point of the post was to stress that WRES DOE NOT receive $35k+ per ton of concentrate. They get that price per ton of metal contained within the concentrate.
With regard to the quantities each month, that will be what it is, I beleive it has to be shipped in 20t loads so until they have that in hand it remains onsite.
The price will still be in the order $16250 per ton of concentrate based on todays price.

“ Tin Concentrate production in July was 7.9t”
Actually that was August’s production for tin concentrate. July was 9.8T which, itself , was 33% lower than June.
Approximately 5T of the 7.9T produced in August was held over from July for reprocessing due to it being low grade concentrate.
So June produced approximately 15T tin concentrate
July produced approximately the same as June (9.8+5)
August produced approximately 2.9 T tin concentrate (7.9-5)
Certainly looks to me like they’re experiencing problems with the tin production which is not affecting the tungsten recovery.
Going, i am sure there will be plenty of posters scratching their heads on your last post.
I can remember a year ago saying Wres only got the final price depending on the grade, and a good few said i was lying or words to that effect ( Troajan , Fanny , Mullins GET) just to name a few.
They dont look so clever now !
Tin Concentrate production in July was 7.9t. We don't know what the grade was, but in Q2 it was 51.9%
Revenue from 1t of tin at a price of $35500 is $18105 ($35500*0.519) then there is a smelt charge typically around 10% reducing the actual revenue per ton to $16294. They didn't ship any tin in July as there wasn't enough but if they had the revenues from that would have been around $128k
Yes Safetyman but their tin output is continually falling . ( doh ! )
. Reasonable people are too busy making money elsewhere than looking at tin charts for a company that can't get it out the ground and sell it. You must be on a 90% loss by now.
Tin is now showing an increase of $1440 (4.26%). I think that’s more good news and I am sure every reasonable person would agree.
