Afternoon Rich , sunny and glorious in Kent , at work so not getting to enjoy the sun . Weathers changing this week now they lifted lockdown typical !
Is it wrong to feel envy at those who are buying at these prices? I wish I had more cash available. Anyway good luck to them.
I'm just a little concerned that, because there hasn't been anything recently, there are still humps and bumps being ironed out. Whatever is going on, like most of us here, I believe it's not if but when.
Who was to know that among those of us who invested in Wres as far back as 2010/11, that come 2020, some of us have got into a race with time between our health failing and Wres making good. Of course there has unfortunately, been one or two who have passed already, God bless them, i just hope that there are no others for a long time to come. So as Tonlin says, a little gift from MM would help lift some flagging spirits as we fight through these awful times.
It would be nice if Michael could post a little vid showing all is well at LP. It would lift all our spirits. He could even do one of his famous proactive interviews. (Ummm.... perhaps not!). Anyway a little hint about progress would help us all.
Andy, I sort of got the feeling the hand of the almighty is hovering around me shoulder, there's all sorts of repression and ill health qualifies in my mind, so I would go for Redemption Song, but I need some splith to lift me the extra bit. So currently, I am more Matt Monroe, Softly as I leave you. Music is a great joy and I like most stuff and been to the opera, classical concerts and rock and pop etc, never got to see Bob Marley though, so yer I will be listening to sounds thanks. they does lift the soul, mind you lifting my right sole is painful at this time. Now if the boys at la parilla get shifting and the grant comes in that would help all us on the material front, however, as MIB illustrated waking up well in a nice place with your dog is a great blessing, and if your loved ones are well, then you is home and dry- I haven't been to that place yet, but always hoped to get there. So does what you can and who knows...……..
Safety, I am so sorry. Of course, now you mention it. Let's hope we can meet again under better circumstances particularly with regard to your health issues. My very best wishes to you. Take care.
Tonlin, we have met. It was at a TP presentation. We spoke on stair landing at the posh hotel.
That is a bad patch safety. Sorry to read that. Best of luck with it all. (We haven't met but we are wresslers when all said and done!)
You guys enjoying yourselves; enjoy it deeply and appreciate, I got to have another prostate biopsy in two weeks, I suffer from ME/CFS which has flared up an shagged me for a cOriole of months, and my foot has gone into a gout flare up ( agony), put that with a recent financial issue I am not in a good patch. I am hoping to have a bath In some comfort in a bit ( ambitious ). I used to love going for a run or swim, and God I miss my Labrador. So enjoy the good days and put them up here it’s good to see. Gives me something to aim for.
Bathed in sunshine here on my estate in the Shires although I don't see the same wildlife that MIB has in his part of the country unfortunately, just the feral pigeons making a racket as they multiply, Blue Tits fluttering, Magpies scavenging and Blacbirds alarming at the cats, whilst overhead, majestic Red Kites get harried by various species of Gulls that live and feed at the local refuse tip. All said, better than living in a high rise in some inner city I'd say.
Yep agree entirely. Put everything into perspective. Up at 5 am and straight out for a 6miler with Max the Brown Lab, joining the deer, foxes, rabbits, and horses across the common and heathland, then back home, breakfast on the patio, then head down writing services for people who will no longer be able to take long country walks or enjoy breakfast on the patio.
Another sunny day in deepest Dorset. Pretty dull RNS yesterday but to be expected with the world issues. At least we can look at the blue sky and be glad we are still on this planet.
