EFlammis, . . . wow . . . can I come and live at your house?
Seefood diet EFlammis? lol
Blimey EFlam, no wonder I ain't got gout, I can't afford it like what you does!!
(Grammar courtesy of the late E. Wise)
Not had gout for 2 years but the usual things to set off gout for me are; beer-real ale, Lobster, Octopus, squid, Prawns, Bacon, Mushrooms.
I had a full lobster linguine Monday (£5 a lobster off local fisherman), Tuesday BBQ sirloin, I had mushrooms stuffed with pesto and goats cheese last night, mushrooms again tonight with pork fillet smoked paprika in a creamy wine sauce. All washed down with a few bottles of Marstons beer. I’ll probably have smoked bacon at the weekend and I’m having a treat tomorrow night, a fish pie from a local restaurant. If I haven’t got gout by Saturday I may be cured! Although our local butcher is doing venison burgers this week so I may throw a few of those on the Barbecue, so it could be Sunday when the gout returns with a vengeance..
Thanks. Legion. I am currently foregoing me vacuum packed mussels what I was gonna have for lunch. So you’re an old timer and remember the 32p SP, that would be nice now.
Anyway, what with the current SP, the coronavirus, me prostate biopsy that I was told was urgent ( which nobody on the NHS can possibly answer the phone to arrange for over a week- I won’t be clapping for the admin people) , my ME/CFS that has payed me low, and other personnel stuff ......... and now no beef or lamb...........jeez .....
It seems being a LTH in Wres is comparable to suffering gout, blinking painful. In fact it might even be the cause of gout?
As a fellow gout sufferer, when you have an attack log what you have eaten 24 to 36 hours prior , a pattern should emerge. Mine is beef and lamb, if I leave those two out of my diet a have no flare ups. Hope it helps. I dont post often but been here in the background for a number of years since Caspian times . Glad better times on way.
