I used to be an electricians mate when i left school rewiring council houses, Best job ever about from the time i cut into a live cooker cable and i went flying to the other side of the room, luckily my snips had rubber handles
Wish I was retired, I’m still crawling under floors and in lofts installing bloody electrics (self employed).
I retired at 53, So thought it would give me some interest instead of sitting around all day.
I added £2000 to average down, So i will take that 2K out at 200 if we see it again soon .
I was trading a few years back, Done OK but stopped when i stated to loose money
Good luck with your shares
I bailed out of ITM early and today it opened at higher then topped 129. I first got in at 19p but sold on the way up to protect my profits. You can only be careful and spread the risk, but you know that. Trading EMG at the moment but missing today’s high. Oh well next week. This WMH, if the politicians would just keep out I think we would be on to a winner. Hopefully the finals will also give some future guidance and direction. If it ever gets back to 200, I think I will reduce as it’s so painful to watch. Until then divs, divs divs. Better than sitting on Santander or any other account.
Ps I do have a day job, this is just a bit of interest and fun. What do they say (do gooders) when the fun stops, stop! See advertising works!
Hi Morbox, This share dealing hobby is not much of a hobby no more, I checked my PF last night and i just dont know how i have managed it, But i am still in the blue, Maybe its time to quit while i am ahead in this game while people around me have lost quite a lot of money on the aim market and it comes to a point that it knocks your confidence, Over the last couple of weeks, I have refused to buy shares that i knew would have made me money, but didn't buy, Yesterday, M&S at 181, didn't buy and now 188, these were the type of shares that i was making money on last year and earned a lot which covered my aim losses.
I have Hastings shares, They were down 10% this morning, Now 5% down.
Regards WMH, I think the sooner a take over happens, the better, the UK has to many do gooders, OK, I agree that bookies should not be tempting people to gamble more who has issues, But i feel that we are on a disadvantage and its not doing us any good.
I think i will just let the shares that i own get back into profit and have a rest. Its frustrating
HL showing £1.6m buy just after 1. Sp 187.
thechancers, any views on a trading entry, every time I buy it goes down!
The UK market is going to be hammered until the MP’s in their wisdom comes up with the new “digital gambling bill”. Need to look overseas for any stability in the SP. Like you said lotto, scratch cards, and in my view the people phoning in the bloody TV competitions have a big impact on society, but only gambling firms are targeted.
More doom and gloom

Was watching the SP most of the day, the price hit resistance at 190 and fell back, Need to break 190 to move forward
The scratch cards had a bigger effect on the poorer people, They would get there benefits and buy a load of scratch cards leaving no money for food, The lottery is another one, Little chance on winning, the government should be trying to get people buying premium bonds and allow to buy in cheaper, Least they still have there money and a chance of winning. I managed a £1000 prize last year
Everyone should also have a go at social media and foreign call centres as they have a bigger effect on mental health and stress levels imv.
Good day, well had dentist first thing so missed most of the morning. Can’t believe broker views Citigroup 290. I wish!
Well, I didn't expect to see blue today, onwards and upwards
Seems everyone is having a go at betting companies regards gambling and people getting into trouble, wonder what effect this will have on the share price today.
