The trouble is if you starting advising paying subscribers something is a sell and it goes up and you are wrong then you Loose face and have to keep justifying your reasons with more waffle.
A balanced article would point out wmh have Actually just wiped £192m off net debt after a successful book build raise.. and That the balance sheet Will receive a huge boost from a further Unchallenged by HMRC £203Million VAT rebate. And William hills business has picked up so much they have now returned the governments furlough money in full.. any of that mentioned - i doubt it.
They should back views with analysis of data not woolly comments about the USA....
Poor article is being kind.
10 Years ago i valued IC stuff, these days sadly the complete opposite, all agenda driven Poorly researched Articles imo. I wouldnt suggest They are paid to write stuff by others With certain Agenda - Through ive seen others suggest it so make your own mind up. .
They have a novice investor following These days and not much more.
IC update article is from this Friday. I think they're wrong, simply misunderstanding just how much difference the start of the NBA and MLB seasons have made to income in the USA and how much more it will explode with the late August return of NCAA football and, in particular, the return of the NFL in September. They say sell, I'm looking at buying more!
Very interesting, I have a lot of time for IC, Simon Thompson I believe. When was the article published? It makes me wonder exactly what valuation they put on WMH prior to having £400 plus million in the bank. This share stood at £2 last year and didn’t have that money to back them up. Regarding valuations I even take the brokers with a pinch of salt, if supporting a share or not. Personally I do my own research and go with my own gut in general. In this instance for IC to discard the USA I am somewhat taken back as the potential there is huge. I personally feel the management is all over the retail estate plus they are upping their game in online. Most surprised and as Ohnetoe says let the market do the talking. Too much potential here in my view.
