The online live casino is very busy,if you have an account log on it gives you the numbers by the side, been about 5ooo on the two main roulette wheels...You can spin 10k as well,so if you a few bored highly paid footy players on they are laughing..
Take a look at earlier posts Volcano but essentially for now casino games like poker, slots and roulette but I suspect by 1 May there will be horse racing back in the UK and elsewhere. It's quite solitary with no crowd required so as long as they can justify one ambulance crew on site and one medic I think they can do it especially as tracks like Newmarket and Wolverhampton have hotels on site where people can stay and isolate away from others - no crowd needed either.
However as pointed out by others the real cream with WMH is the potential in the US; they were already ahead of many others before the Legislation started to be relaxed and they've made good moves since then to strengthen their position. The current situation is temporary and once it's over the US will open up and WMH has a huge new market. I understand that California alone is the size of the whole of Europe in terms of potential market.....makes you think and puts into perspective the huge drops in the SP due to FBOT restrictions in the UK...…..the UK won't even be an interest for WMH if he US really takes off.
Hope they don't merge with BetFred. Cannot stand Fred Done.

Casino games and virtual sports I guess - accounts for a lot of bookmakers income generally
But there is no sporting events out there so what people are betting on,
pie eating competition? you cannot do that either ,lol.
but it is good to see the share price is rising though.
keep safe
You did brilliantly to buy in at 40p. At that time there felt huge uncertainty and that was before the government announced it would pay 80% of wages and rates rebates. I bought in at 65p when it became clear the price would not go back down again. I think we all knew this was a sure thing - I just wish I had more spare cash to invest. This is still a really cheap buy in price, WMH have brilliantly secured licences for the new sports betting opportunities in USA, this is huge. Add to that speculation of a merger with Betfred possibly on the cards. Exciting times for WMH and £1 per share which will also pay dividends as well as capital gain is a great investment.
I have been looking at WH ever since the US decided to open up gambling to the masses. I got in here at 40p and I do not think it will return to those levels. I want to hold that for as long as possible.
I do expect some pull back because it has been on a tear and expect a bit of a rocky road but there is still great value to be had here, I feel when those dips eventually show themselves in the coming weeks/ months, it will provide buying opportunities.
I just wish I had more money to invest at 40p!
I bought both WMH and 888 a week or so ago for different reasons.
888 very strong in the non-sports arena (poker, slots etc) and with people at home and being paid 80% but with nothing else to spend it on they’re going to gamble and WMH more for the cheapness of the share and the potential in the US once this virus dies down (pun intended).
I follow horseracing closely and it’s pretty clear the BHA will do everything they can to get horseracing back on at the start of May. Even if the lockdown isn’t over for us, if the curve is on the way down then I think the NHS will be able to spare 5 doctors and 5 ambulance crews across the whole country so we can have racing on every day in the UK and I suspect Ireland and France will follow suit too. If that happens there will be an explosion of punting as people who’ve not had a bet for a while go back big time especially if at home and with the prospect of new ‘mug’ customers having a bet too as there is no football etc on WMH will be laughing. You can also bet the PL will finish the season – no way clubs will want to hand £750 million back to Sky and same with the NBA in the US.
I’ve bought at 65p so won’t be buying in again now but I certainly won’t be selling either.
I’m still buying. This will be one of the many big companies to roar back quickly. Prior to this virus analysts talk was of £4+ with the US up and running in a huge market.
It will double again from here in short to medium so a great investment imho. Why bother with risky Aim stocks when opportunities like this present.
Good luck all and stay safe.
I was looking at 25P , Like you , i am not buying now
Gutted I missed this rally kept looking at 66p and dithered kept thinking it was going back. Loathed to go in now at 1.06.
Not sure why that i didn't average down, Ah, Fully exposed !!!! Great to see this above £1

Betting stocks defo in favour right now. Rank Casinos also strong today.
Looking like another solid day on the cards.
A beautiful rise, very strong, up +50% in a week. Gambling is like cigarette smoking, people find it very hard to give up, so revenues will bounce back rapidly and sharply here.
... and the shares lifted probably by the news of the US expansion with good potential ....
It look like sports betting might come back sooner than expected. Some golf is being allowed in Denmark, Italy and Germany could lift their lockdowns fairly soon, and so on. Let's see if an RNS pops up tomorrow.
Oh just heard myself, buyout for £8.75. Only joking of course. ;)
Happy days, now in profit. Strange movement on the SP at end of the day. Ticking along then smash up she goes. Maybe something coming out tomorrow and word got round?

Its also a sell. You can't buy anything from someone who isn't selling it. Most sites don't report buys and sells.
