Great buy at 30p. I would have bought so much more had I had the capital.
I bought in at 40p. I was slightly concerned when it went to 26p. I thought of going in large at 26p, the price wa just so cheap. But that would have meant selling my Barratt shares, and I know they are a good bet, so didn't take the risk. Regrets? Some thoughts sure, but I'm very happy with my investments and I'm always looking to define that line between appropriate risk and greed. In the long run, I believe WH has an outside chance of being a ten-bagger for myself.
Since then they announced 125-150m payout is likely from HMRC. Between that HMRC payout and the government furlough scheme (taxpayer funded) for many of their staff things are not looking bad.
finger on the pulse there keepwaiting :P
Coronavirus: William Hill revenue down 57% as it loses £15m a month https://uk.finance.yahoo.com/news/william-hill-revenues-gambling-coronavirus-pandemic-betting-shops-online-uk-082935743.html?soc_src=community&soc_trk=ma
Thanks. I have made a nice profit on my first adventure and it has allowed me to skim and push the profits elsewhere so I am happy. On a splattering of shares left but may leave then here to see what it gets too on e the footie and horse racing starts
They bought a stake at about 165p....Betfred brothers......I am sure they will bid one day
Nice moves, it's hard to push the buy button during a panic. This will see 200+ by year end in my opinion. Fred's moves will be interesting, I feel like he wants the network of betting shops mainly.
What's the bid from the done brothers?
That was the price I paid in March for this. Fell to 28p. Sold half at 70p. Holding for the bid from the Done brothers. Also bought lots of GAN at 64p. Transferred to Nasdaq and now about £3.10p equiv. Only a couple of months but seems a long time now. A sort of madness took hold of the mkt for a few days.
I do feel sorry for those who panic sold in March.
