Looks like I posted to early!!!
Marshall Wace, when they short shares go down, they can get it wrong though. I'm not short, waiting for a good entry point :)
Whos marshall and whats your PT
Marshall short increased, maybe will go down further. I hope so, i can get back in then :)
Sp holding up well compared to iag and easyjet said they would resume flights to tel aviv today not sure I would want to be on one though. If Israel can be persuaded not to retaliate can see the sp going back to £23_£24
GLA
Ken the irony Yank futures nice and blue 💙 ftse red
Rizzel, thanks for your explanation all makes good sense
I was aware they had opened up flights to telaviv a week or so back, but the escalation in the attacks will certainly put pressure on WIZZ.
Cheers
my my, how the tables turn. marshalls will get it up the **** monday pretty sure https://www.lse.co.uk/news/israel-reopens-airspace-as-airlines-cancel-flights-due-to-iran-attacks-say658d8dnicq4k.html
I'm sick to death of all this geo politics crap
Agree end week around 22 / 23 , may top up monday
I was thinking the opposite. While it may still go down on monday I think it will not go far below 2000p, and it will recover during the week if nothing else happens and tension will ease.
I hope so anyway
Will be slaughtered Monday....Marshall will make a fortune
Yep obviously Marshall see this coming
FTSE followed the US market down on opening as oil prices spiked to near $92. Retreated to $90 on close and will probably drop further on Monday in the absence of Iranian retaliation. US airlines recovered some ground towards close on Friday which is a good sign. All imo.
As predicted Iran 🇮🇷 have attacked a ship linked to Israel 🇮🇱 Monday will be red obviously
I'm not in wizz I was referring to previous panic sell offs ....sorry for confusion...I got small amount of jet2 for the record
I think yesterdays sell off was mainly because of news that Iran might attack Israel this weekend, hence the sell off just in case this happens. If it were to happen it would mean WizzAir would be force to cancel all of their flights to Israel again, they only began to resume their flight schedules to Tel Aviv last month from several European cities.
I also think that this keeps the SP down as Wizz was the largest airline company operating to and from Tel Aviv. Now loosing most of that capacity and continuing threat of escalation would bring it down even more.
Thats just my opinion
good luck all
Kapa I'm still in WIZZ which is not wizzing as the name depicts
Lol,
does anyone know why the drop yesterday I see its long way to results for FY on 23rd may
If you're not in wizz, how is it then that you've been caught?
Just curious what you mean.
Always get caught out on these panic days .....glad I'm not in wizz at the moment
Don't worry £24 will be back. Overdone 'fire sale panic'as usual - shakes all the little fish out of the market for the big boys to hoover up next week. The traditional annual rise towards results in May kicks off about now too so it's looking good for the coming weeks. All imo.
Knew I should've sold a tranche at £2.40. Shorts are piling in ahead of results.............am kicking myself now. It will turn eventually but I missed an opportunity
EZJ and IAG also down by similar amounts.
Told u it would drop hard
