Wow i remember this share being 100+. what on earth happened don't tell me Tom W and cronies were right???
24.45% UP and the bid hasn't moved (still 0.286p ). Crazy!
Showing wide spread. 0.33 to buy and 0.286 to sell so if those early trades were indeed buys they were done at a good price. But the wide spread is deterring trade at present.
What is happening now
Innovate have a charge over all the assets of Versarien as security for their £5 million loan.
7 million shares sold . If the company goes under does the govt or other organisations have a call on any remaining value to repay grants/ loans given in the past as other creditors would?
I suspect news this week for sale of AAC Cyroma and FOMO kicking in any moment.
This is simply ridiculously undervalued!
Blue
Not sure there are that many trades or with any volume. I've accepted the dead duck prognosis. Still can't quite understand how the company can have lost so much money over the years that it has been raising from gullible shareholders (like me). Still doubtless some will have done very well over that period and can still sleep well.
Market makers bidding strongly this morning for all my shares. Suspect they know what's round the corner and I wont be suprised to see 1p+ here very soon.
Timeline very revealing here from 2nd October saying that no guarantee that sales can be satisfactorily concluded to just over a month later on the 8th November saying that placing utilised as bridging loan until funds from sale lands and AAC Cyroma is most advanced.
2nd October RNS
Discussions are ongoing with third parties interested in acquiring these assets, but at this juncture there can be no certainty that sales can be satisfactorily concluded
30th October RNS
The mature businesses and the intellectual property and plant acquired from Hanwha Aerospace in 2020 continue to be marketed for sale and we have a number of interested parties that we are progressing discussions with. The sale process for AAC Cyroma Limited, a manufacturer of moulded products, is the most advanced. However, the timing of any asset sales and the total quantum of the funds that may be received remains uncertain.
8th November RNS
The net proceeds of the Placing will be used for corporate and working capital purposes, together with providing bridge finance to extend the Company's cash runway ahead of any funds received from asset sales.
As previously announced, the mature businesses and the intellectual property and plant acquired from Hanwha Aerospace in 2020 continue to be marketed for sale and the Company is progressing discussions with a number of interested parties. Good find! 👍
95m shares traded this week. 49m last week. 100m the week before. I calculate roughly 6-700m shares have been traded since the placing. And as we only have under 500m in issue, surely they've been sold by now? We've been above the placing price most of the time. Good to see some movement on Friday. Spread being bit of a pain but once that improves, hopefully a decent rise, perhaps back to 1p and above?
For those who are still holding on to VRS you may take hope from this new discovery for graphene in Germany posted 04/12/2023. Two important findings: 1) you only need small amounts of graphene to develop magnets that are very useful for switches and storage devices like batteries; 2) to develop these magnets it is "actually quite simple," says Martin Mittendorff, professor at the University of Duisburg-Essen.
Graphene, that is extremely thin carbon, is considered a true miracle material. An international research team has now added another facet to its diverse properties with experiments at the Helmholtz-Zentrum Dresden-Rossendorf (HZDR): The experts, led by the University of Duisburg-Essen (UDE), fired short terahertz pulses at micrometer-sized discs of graphene, which briefly turned these minuscule objects into surprisingly strong magnets. This discovery may prove useful for developing future magnetic switches and storage devices. For more go to:

This is a major advance in graphene research, but as always do your own research please.
Good luck all investors
Needs to breakthrough 0.4…once it does it should do well.
Franco - im in same boat as you. Investing further into this stock makes me nervous but I have long term hope that in 5 to 10 years, the development of Graphene will be in a much better state. The material is still technically in its development stage and the ability to create in mass does not exist yet. If we ever get to this stage (which i think we will in the long run), the value of this company could be huge. I have some stock left in from the days at 20p, bought some more to reduce my average SP. All we can hope for in the immediate future is the company learn to manage what they have efficiently, with cash being king. It's tough in the R&D phase but you just never know. Hopefully the impending sale could be the start to some signs of recovery.
Did say Rsi was too low, hence was oversold.
0.277 buy looks tremendous
Sale would be a game changer..
Bitta movement there

Mate you have a shocker here.
AAC Cyroma sales for the 18 months ended 30 September were £5 million up from £3 million for the year ended 31 March 2021.
So after adjusting 12 months to 18 months the increase is far smaller and the year to 31 March 2021 would have impacted by COVID lockdowns.
This was the share that got me into aim and investing in small caps. Found it about 14p and Neil seemed the real deal. Proper product. Govt backing! New machines to make tonnes of graphine Ran it all the way to 240 but was green and didn’t sell. Honestly thought if they got it into concrete it would be the business and make us all. Sadly didn’t happen. Learning experience. Made a little bit. Could have been better. At some point this product will get commercialised properly and not just in the headphones I bought (they were great) or clothing. I’m sure it will happen. But I may be dead.
AAC Cyroma Limited we've been told by the company is at the most advanced stage of being sold in relation to the other assets and we know its revenues for last year were £5 million whixh was 66% more than the previous year. The same improvement again for this year would give revenues of £8.33 million.
I have started building a position in Versarien as I think it's extremely undervalued and we're about to get a very nice suprise with the sale of AAC Cyroma.
I think £4 million for assets sales is probably over optimistic.
No wonder just 10 percent hand to mouth takers
