Neil,
Must be so,Ed big background sells holding it back, let’s see when it clears. Just a punt mind you.
I missed out on BIG this morning, got a quote under 80p for £5K worth and got distracted, went back and it was over 100p to buy.
Oh well
It was imminent , bankruptcy will be the next RNS in around 2 months
All blue and some 5k buys all around 0.89p... so definitely buys but SP is stagnant.
This was the same at HE1 yesterday and then a big sale was show ager hours but traded during the day.
I imagine the same thing is happening here
Mick looks like it won't see 0.080p.. definitely not today.. you were correct
They could AnnaB you are correct
But they are there for the lifestyle of the CEO to be paid 300k and list on AIM to keep the money coming in
FCA needs to investigate these failures.. they are happening too often
The 0.090p is holding up remarkably well.
Its not making any one money yet as its still only 0.865p to sell but holding its own.
GLA
And what about Cementine? Construction is great business, could be such future. I also read, recent researchers found that graphene can be used in semiconductors instead of silicon. So many opportunities for market. I don't understand these companies how they cannot do better.
Fair play Mick and I wish you the best as always.
The MCAP I believe is less than 500K
My analysis was simply on the RNS released and past experience of these raises.
This has all the red flags of a company near the end
BUT that doesn't mean it's not worth a gamble.. my argument is its not worth it at 13% above placing price with double the shares now in issue.
I hope you make some cash though
Neil,
At a MC of less than £900K, I am in for a punt. Ask moved to 0.10p and then fell back, I doubt we will see 0.08p to buy.
Good luck all punters.
Last comment for those buying at 0.09p or 13l% above placement price.
If they do secure new contracts or sales of assets this will absolutely fly I grant you
But please read the RNS again and look at the figures
The raise is virtually all the company is worth in terms of MCAP
Normally a share falls to placement price even if its only 7/10 dilution
This is going from 496 000 000 to 996 000 000 so its now got more than double the shares it had before
That is ridiculous dilution and for only 400k
We all love a trade and a gamble but this at 0.09p [13%] above Placing is mental.
Taken from RNS
Versarien plc (AIM: VRS), the advanced materials engineering group, announces it has raised £400,000 (before expenses) by way of a placing (the "Placing") of ***500,000,000*** new ordinary shares in the capital of the Company ("Placing Shares") at a price of ***0.08*** pence.
. Following Admission, the total number of ordinary shares in the Company in issue will be
*** 996,169,507***
Mcap just £446k. Priced to fail imo. The SP will be a lot higher in a couple of weeks after the placing 'churn', significantly so if they deliver asset sales...
Placing was forward sold IMO, bid moving up and NT to buy at 0.09p. Looks like a very good punt down here.
DYOR
Likely millions. But its not guarenteed. Reward is massive if they do. RNS sounded positive about progress on that front
Remember this wasworth hundreds of millions a couple years ago
Anyway good luck here if you try to trade.
Maybe at 0.07p I'd consider BUT 14% above placing and a 12% spread
No chance
petroinvestor you are a complete ****
Haha you are the biggest P rick on any board petroinvestor AND you tell me to stop clogging a board!
I'm competing after an RNS like that!!
You are on ENET 20 times a day with the same post !!
You need a shrink!!
How much the asset sale would bring to the bank?
Think pretty reasonable chance of buying at 0.09p to sell at 0.12p+ in the next week or 2
If they secure asset sale then it will be a multibagger. If they don't then this cash they raised will last them 3-4 months so i wouldn't want to be holding this past end of Q1 just in case
0.05p will be a sensible buy target to trade imo
Buy to let placing flippers sell out says investing genius
Jan 24 £400k
Nov 23 £454k
July 23 £650k
May 23 £530k
March 23 £318k
Dec 22 £1.85m
I make that 4.2 Million since Dec 2022.
Had no one got the message yet?
BOD must be laughing all the way to the bank!!
Looks to me like its about to tick up. Despite the negativity.
Should provide a good 25-50% bounce from these levels
trade it don't invest
Neil777 - Stop deramping. If people want to buy then it's their own money.
Stop clogging up the board.

A spot in post
It'd been an utter disgrace and it highlights the worst of AIM
This is one of those shameful outfits that sadly only exists to raise cash from hapless shareholders. It's worse than most though as they're doing it multiple times a year, this latest one alone being 50% dilution! They've now raised well over £35m in total since float (not a typo), that will never be seen again.
Now 28% spread
People buying at 12% above the placement price and a few grand too!
There is a 12.5% spread too
Absolutely bonkers
If this hits the placement price of 0.08p... which it will by looks if it.. then the placing will be worth more than the company in terms of MCAP.. just take that information in and wonder what hope it has.
They are now stating all these opportunities BUT the RNS before the AGM/EGM on the 10th basically Said let us raise money through dilution or we are bust
What a bunch of crooks
