There are things we can control and things we can’t. If we can reduce the window of opportunity then we will do very well and maybe it may be a similar scheme to ESCROW and a safe vault. Firing a shot across boys is always good as it states we have eyes on you as well
I know nooothing
Good to see someone else coming onto this board who has been following the company for a good few years, and is aware of the company's history. I recognise you!
Yes, it would be great if all Rns's were announced after the close of trading. A level playing field would be great.
Apologies from me but I have not posted on here previously but some may know me from other forums and medium.
When we talk of MM etc do we not have any theory regarding late trades and how the SP does seem to fluctuate at times quite a bit post close.
I for one would love to see the RNS released and approved at the NOMAD at the very last minute.
When you look at the SP I’ll admit timeframes haven’t gone according to my expectations but they were my expectations based on what I’d read
Additionally I would love to see the correlation between spread bet firms and the SP as I suspect that some swings would have been very profitable to them too
I know nooothing
Strangely, my consumption of whisky has rocketed this past couple of weeks !!!!!!!
There must be subliminal Bowmore bottles on my TV screen then. There's plenty empty ones behind it ??
I can relate to that. Subliminal advertising has moved on a lot.
I remmber going to Granada Studios decades ago, and our guide explaining that when you watch a programme, frames can be manipulated to create subliminal messages inorder to influence the viewer, this happens so fast that your not aware of it, so it's easy to see how SH can be influenced.
Robin, the NOMADs are not our mates coming in to fix anything. The BIGT 15% by the AGM was purely an ambition to enable another 15% to be voted on by us shareholders at the AGM for the next year. Pretty standard resolution stuff.l year on year. The shift from only BIGT funding to being shared is all part of the "better offer" All just imo as always.
The only Le Bon, I'm aware of is Simon!! Apologies.
But I guess you're talking about herd mentality which I can understand.
And this is definitely being driven
I'd say that the last two updates were meant to support the sp and that the problem is more phychological with people flinching at their own shadows, and it doesn't help when chartist come on board suggesting that the sp could drop to 20p or the steady drip of deramping.
In his book, Le Bon also formulated the contagion theory, which argues that crowds cause people to
act in a certain way. The theory suggests that crowds exert a sort of hypnotic influence on their
members. The hypnotic influence combined with the anonymity of belonging to a large group of
people, even just for that moment, results in irrational, emotionally charged behavior. Or, as the
name implies, the frenzy of the crowd is somehow contagious, like a disease, and the contagion
feeds upon itself, growing with time. In the end, the crowd has assumed a life of its own, stirring up
emotions and driving people toward irrational, even violent action.
And I do think these boards affect the sp.
Hi Max
How many share prices move massively before an RNS...loads. That's what I mean by City gits, they find out something is happenning (a company registers an RNS),and tell their mates before the news drops.
The MM's pull and push the price around by scaring PI's and scooping stop losses up. It's clearly machiavelain (can't be bothered to spellcheck!).
I'm waiting for a holdings RNS here, the volumes have been massive for a while now.
It is all in past RNS's Max and updates , people forget. As far as the city and corruption goes that is how it has always operated with backscratching for information.
When I buy or sell shares, only through Hargreaves and Lansdown, a noble company, I expect the price involved to be somewhat close to the closing price of the previous day. There would be no possibility of me persuading the sharebrokers at the firm to manipulate the price in my favour, and RIGHTLY SO. So how can "City Gits" accoomodate their mates ?? That would seem to be insider trading which I understand is frownd upon in certain circles. By the way how can certain correspondents on here get information not available to me or others by RNS ?? I would not pay one penny to bypass official news systems, though I'm not suggesting any one does. ------ Yours, Max.
Who knows Robin.
All I can think is that the new nomad has thought..."lets clear the decks" to have a clean start (lets face it. we've been through a few).
Tie that in with a PR company coming in, and it looks like we are trying to wear long trousers now, rather than shorts.
I read into the recent news, that if china is to come off, then it'll be the construction company building the Graphene parks that will make the investment, as I guess they are further removed from government. I could be wrong.
I don't think for one minute that this is another Haydale.
I this was a squiffy company then I think the 2 government secondees would have been back to Whitehall 6 months ago. Plus the guy from Aecom would need his head examining. And he's clearly a clever guy.
I'm in the doo doo's big style, but what has changed? Thats why I think manipulation.
Whatever, please don't think I'm giving advice, or ramping...I'm not. I'm holding, and wondering about risking buying.
It's a mental battle. On one shoulder someone is whispering "a year ago you'd have filled your boots if you could have bought at 38p". On the other shoulder someone is whispering "you're doomed you silly sod".
Anyway RobinH, thats my position/thinking. I doubt it helps!!!
Why was it a poor RNS Robin? Was it the standard disclaimers that put you on the backfoot or something else? The funding from China is still 15% and they are negotiating ways to ensure that some of the money comes out of China and some stays to cover machinery costs on the graphene park/s.
Hi BurtonS and LSE99.
Sorry first of all, am I being stupid ? Please give me a roasting if I am. I can take it.
When you mention nothing has changed do you not consider the funding of 15% of near term cash to vrs from the original agreed BIGT now being shifted away from them to other business interests to fund ?
Is this not a major change to the near term funding process or am I being a bit thick ?
12 months + Neill said that the aircraft part he had been dragging around the world was now in the air around Europe ? No mention of aviation nor any increase in noteable supply in general graphene ?
I am confused by this drop, the trolling getting to the Bod and a poor rns only being partially saved by todays Angel suggestion of imminent. Thought the BIGT was imminent in Sept for the AGM ? That I am certain of.
Hope so Burton. Its almost as though the city have got the nod that VRS is close to commercialisation and looks like the real deal. We'll be the last to know as usual whilst others accumulate at this level. That's my hope and that's why I'm holding firm through all the games and noise
Just an obvious thought:
If nothing has changed within the company, and things are moving forward, then, is this the gits in the city letting their mates in, on the cheap?
Looks like it to me. And in all honesty it's bloody painful
