I think you know what i meant nearly 200 per share
yea I wish that's all it was Dan, Of course I hope you and some of the other guys here are right about this getting a lot better soon, but after waiting a few years for it to happen, it would kind of be nice to see it in blue writing , if you know what I mean, still hopeful though, just need to see it creeping upwards
robleo. vod owes you £200, Are you serious? Lucky you!
The big boys in the city are playing this share, you guys need to chill, 7% diviy !! good results last week theres f""k all up with it , it will come back, (((((CHILL))))))
what goes down ,must go up, or have I got that the wrong way round ??
Wil57Woo, not sure why you would sell von at these bottom prices, then buy bt, which reached its peak in June, and is now dropping, but i guess you have your reasons
good luck
Lol Dan, I fully aware that there are more losers than winners in day trading but my point is that they cause the share price fluctuations!! I was only joking when saying I wish they could teach me how to day trade...... hahahaha
I am shocked that this stock is unable to put on any gains during Ftse up days. Today I have sold all my Voda phone and purchased BT.
sidi. If there are 10,000 trades a day then there are 10,000 sells & 10,000 buys, for every share sold, there is a buy. For every day trade winner, there is a loser. just common sense. Of course we all want to be winners, but on average there has to be more losers than winners in one day to pay for fees & stamp duty, so I think you have an acute case of day trading FOMO.
What a surprise - are we going to hand on in the £1.15 or are we going to drop even further - it doesn't matter what results are given - this stick is getting crippled by the markets - they have no intention of us moving upwards - so depressing - 3 years of this and we are almost back at the lows of £1
Yes Mikey, it has turned red again. S*d a dog! Now I am frustrated......oh God, kill me now!......
Yes I know Dan. For you and me, it's hard to know how to do day tradings but there are more than 10,000 trades for VOD every day. There got to be some day traders among them. They know when to buy and when to sell in order to make a profit. How I wish they would teach me.....lol
Hello sidi, Just to explain my meaning of the word pop as I use it a lot. I mean good humoured critiicism, definitely not aggressive. You are definitely not aggressive. When you say day trading, do you mean spread betting/c.f.d. or buying & selling the share? If the latter, you need to make over 1% just to break even, so without a crystal ball the odds are against you, of course professional traders, those your can read charts correctly can make money, but I suspect most trade over several days. But my point was that vod is no more a day trading share than many others. Barclays has a beta of 1.5 for example.
Is this the usual America factor kicking in now
Also I didn't say VOD has a high beta. I said traders only need just one or even half a percent to make a profit. VOD often goes up or down more than 2% and that's good enough for traders to make a killing!!
Hey Dan, don't you feel a bit curious for a seemingly experienced poster like mesh only have written 54 posts? And also if he has not been banned then he should have defended himself but no answer from him for a whole morning. What do you think?
Oh, I didn't pop at him. I was only replying his post against mine. Sorry for my post seemed a little aggressive...... hahahaha
sidi. Are you sure you are not just using this vod day trading thing as a scape goat. Mesh is right when he says vod has a low beta (volatility) value, at less than one, one being average. I am surprised at your pop at mesh, Why would he have been banned? It's not like you?? Frustration perhaps?
By the way mesh, have you ever heard of day traders? They only look for 1% or even just half a percent gain to make a living! The fluctuations of VOD's SP fit perfectly for these traders! That's exactly why VOD's SP movements are going 'n' shape almost every day like a roller coaster. It's the work of these traders. They cause the ups and downs!
Yes, it's now blue!!!
....but will it stay blue? ..or will it finish the day in blue?.....lol
Hey morning mesh. No offense but have you been banned? It doesn't look like that you are new to this. How come you only have written just 54 posts? I believe this is your new account or second may third account??.......lol
"Like what I said, this is now a trading share. Traders are only looking for short term gains. There's no logic!...."
---
A stock like VOD would be a death wish for traders because of the low beta.
As a trader you want to enter and exit more frequently than swing or long term investors. How would that be possible for a trader with VOD?
Here is a link to the current relative volatility of the shares: https://bit.ly/3f4zinh
As for short interests, there isn't much to write home about: https://bit.ly/372OtsG
Mesh
....but it's a really quick turnaround from 1.4p down to now just 0.15p down. May see it going blue soon. Well, let's hope so....
Like what I said, this is now a trading share. Traders are only looking for short term gains. There's no logic!....
There is no logic for the continual drop here from results day...
'i believe this share price will average between 112-123 while they are going through the buy back'
the rns suggest average price c.1.218. Presumably the recent div included in that hence the current SP as goldman and others postion it?
