Don't want to have a pop, but maybe you should start using spellcheck before you hit 'post'. Everyone makes the off typo or incorrect spelling, however, with you it's almost every word.
It knot lookin goode agane sadley.
I don’t think this share is doing to bad today considering the market is down and also the way it is being trashed on here the price is not so bad at all
Well, the bid is likely to come when they trash the dividend and we drop to 50p range!
Looks like those stories on Friday were to move the price up and get out of a position. Very dubious.

There may be plans for a bid or there might not be. But if there are we would be the last ones to know.
Do you think that from rumours on Friday afternoon to bid announcement on Monday morning is realistic?
The world does not move this fast.
Takeover my hairy b***s
Thing I don't get when these sort of rumors get published is why the person publishing them cannot be said to be either part of a conspiracy to manipulate the price or part of a conspiracy to leak inside information. Either way, shouldn't they be liable for prosecution? Maybe American law is different in this regard?
64.7 for me please, looks like these rumours will run aground so a retreat beyond the SP threatened on Friday
There was no bid then, there is no bid now. Sad to say.
Do you remember when BT hired a firm to shore up its defences against a hostile bid. What a load of rubbish. More money wasted and given to the cosy club in the city.
Sadly, no takeover in the offing. the rumours are designed for the rich to bail out at a better price and for hedge funds to create new short positions. Real takeovers come without warning.
66.69 for me please.
67.25 for me please
Garonne, If there really is a takeover going on in the background do you really think the board would be going public about talks now which probably hasn’t even got that far?
Obviously, but 35% in a few months for a FTSE company is Aim territory. I didn't expect to incur such heavy losses and the dividend is scant reward. It seems to me to be more of a gimmick considering how the stock has performed as a result of the dividend being paid.
I don't have a problem because it's only a paper loss and vod pays divis. My investment horizon is very long.
Most importantly I knew that investment value can go up or down before I put money into this.
Were you not aware that investments can also go down in value? That might explain your disappointment.
You're right Avocet it's been a stinking investment but what if I sold and they got bought out, I'd be sick. I already sold RR to buy this dog and watching it go up every day as this goes down is difficult but sods law dictates that the same would happen here if I sold. In the meantime, I'll whinge all I want as I've paid for the privilege but I appreciate your advice. Why do you not have a problem with your investment here? Do you enjoy losing money? It seems an odd thing to say!
Told you before I don't have a problem with my investment here. If I did, I would have sold. Unlike you, you are deeply unhappy with your investment, you winche everyday about it, but for some reason you won't sell.
You say, "too" Avocet. Does that mean you're selling?
Garonne, and so you should sell too, shouldn't you.
Drift have you already sold out, or are you planning on selling out? Obviously the markets were closed last night, so when did/will you sell your shares? Or are you just talking your own book to in "pharma and tech to date, hopefully CROWD"? You come across like many of the Motley Fool crew who write articles trashing popular retail stocks, while promoting other less popular stocks in other articles.
Well, not a peep from VOD as usual. I guess the takeover rumour was just that. No doubt normal service will resume with another down day in store for long suffering shareholders.
Well all of us who have been invested here from 2018 can sympathise with the last few posts, we all know where this has been, the question is now can this increase from it's current price of 66.25p, well i hope so, i will be keeping my fingers crossed for all of us, old and new investors
