BT putting its broadband prices up 9% end of March. Will VOD be able to make something of that?
Meanwhile I am going SIM-only as my Vodafone contract is coming to an end on the 22nd. Lebara are offering me the same texts, messages and data for £4.50 pcm, as well as EU roaming at no additional charge plus 100 free international calls. So it's still dog eats dog in the mobile marketplace.
Voda Nasdaq down 2% and Ftse futures already 50 points down
Wow America is really dropping now - looking dodgy tomorrow - would be nice to finish the week over £1.20 but I think we will be below even £1.19
is this a good or bad thing?
its just the massive 1.20 expiry for tomorrow keeping it magneted to this area now. After tomorrow it will fly.
I have just topped up at £1.20 for £5k worth,so hoping for a ladder.
The mystery buyer must have changed his mind ?
Now I am moaning !!!!!!!
Well as usual America seems to be taking us down below £1.20 - strange as the america markets are rising but the ftse has dropped more
Theres a large 1.20 vodafone option that expires tomorrow.
Wow that was a sudden turn around this morning
Hope it's not too bad for you Dan and you get well soon.
Lemsip hot toddies every 4 hours and a curry with fresh ingredients that's so hot it makes you sweat buckets got rid of it in a few days for me over the summer.
Good day for Vodafone yesterday. I was expecting a pull back after Tuesday but it was very minor, stayed clear of 120p and actually closed slightly above the opening price. 50MA about to cross up through 100MA as well.
9 trading days now until Q3 update. It will be interesting to see what happens as uptrend is still in place, although volume did tail off a bit yesterday. FTSE and US futures are up this morning, so could be another dip down/sideways move as we seem to be moving in the opposite direction to the markets!
Dan, if it's a bit further up the ladder each Friday, that will do me, lucky you got all your jabs, but make sure you put a mask on before entering this crowded board room, hope you get well soon, it's very mild for most who have had all jabs
Oh so Goldman Sachs has up'd us to 180 and a "conviction buy" I can see a new motorbike coming soon just nin time for summer :::::::))))))))))))))
Daniel, either your going to have to get some booze or boxing gloves if you’re isolating at home together for 24 hours a day ;-)
ATB Pete
Thanks Pete. I am fully jabbed, & so far I have had much worse colds, so hopefully I will be ok, apart from the fact I have run out of booze & me & the wife are supposed to isolate.
daniel, well get well soon, I just hope you’re all jabbed up, apparently the effects are less severe.
Good luck, Pete
Newbie. Hello Pete. Apparently there are those worse off than me as well? I'd like to meet them, I could do with laugh. I am joking of course, even though I have just tested positive for covid. Never mind, I think things are looking up generally. Good luck. Dan.
danielh, I wasn’t scoffing at you for being worse off than me I promise, just stating that there are those worse off than me, and I know you don’t hide the fact that you are.
It is long time no speak as I don’t frequent this board too much especially when the sp has been heading south. Now that the market have seen some positivity in it, it does make the board a more convivial place to visit. I do spend time keeping an eye on EUA as that surely can’t be far off boom time (sorry about the cross ramp) and I don’t want to miss the ride when it happens. I hope Vod does reach a more positive sp as I believe that it has, for too long been out of favour.
Have a good day, Pete
You wouldn't want to be playing Snakes & Ladders with Mikey, every time he lands on a snake, he would be throwing more than the dice around the room. 2 to 3 steps forward, then 1 step backwards is fine by me!
It was nice while it lasted - 3 days of excitement - then back to the usual vodafone we know !!!
'maybe theres a mystery seller?'
LoL
Well we can blame the yanks for this
maybe theres a mystery seller?
This is starting to look dodgy
