Didn't think this would ever go below the £ mark.....But think your right Gary so going to go for 97.5p..... Bet there are some US P/E eyeing this up ...Just a thought how much would you accept per share in a buyout £1.50 £1.65 £1.80?
Thanks for the congrats amigos, bittersweet in that the SP has declined. Hopefully it's only the market malaise that has brought VOD down this week along with everything else.
As for next week the DOW finished down Friday so if its true to form the market here won't like that so I'm guessing a 98p finish please next Friday (Hope I'm wrong)
Good for you Wayzgoose....Was tempted myself but opted to go in to LGEN am heavy in here even heavier in LGEN now right decision time will tell...GLA
Are the market and the short selling bankers once again rather stupidly overlooking this fact?
CSDI. Come on amigo, are you not tempted to buy vod at this bargain price,& dump your other rubbish shares? I am also crap at picking shares, but not as bad as you? Surely?
But why? If you have got the balls, fill your boots. Vodafone are obviously way under priced, but they are very risky, because of massive debt. Don't buy if your cant afford to lose, but do buy if you want to win.
Congrats to Gary 59 on his first gold medal performance.
It's been a bad week for many shares with the FTSE down about 2% and down 6% over the month of Sept.
VOD is one of the many to suffer.
My worst effort in the Friday guesssing game, saw me miss by about 10%.
So need a rethink for the week ahead.
Looking for a modest bounce so will go for 104p on 7th please.

Not been a good week for investors
Full list will follow
Gary, a budget for the benefit of the rich, is never going to go down well, when others will be struggling to pay their mortgages and energy bill, was it ?
Yes Rob possibly a magnificent victory with 1.10, if I am victorious I'll donate the winnings to charity.
Kwasi has already given us an impending tax cut down to 40% so I don't need the winnings.
Dan, your not alone, everything has been beaten down with a big stick, main thing is all the dividends are still coming so far anyway
Hi rob. Yes, I guess it beats hitting the bottle? How are your non vodafone shares doing? I hope you are doing better than me. Can vod stay above the dreaded £1 ?
Dan, it's just a disstraction from the share price mate, for obvious reasons, hopefully next week will be better
I am glad I am not heavy in to politics. (armchair politics). It's like listening to a lot of squabbling kids, or football supporters even? At least M.P's are better informed? Shoot the ref?
Gary, looks like you may win it sfter all, thought i had it in the bag this week ??

Porsche is probably busy following the price of Porsche stock which went public yesterday.
It’s fascinating. In a blinding slight of hand the Porsche family which owns 52% of VW and therefore 52% of Porsche before the IPO now own something like 68% of Porsche, buying a chunk of shares paid for by paying themselves a special div from VW from the sale of Porsche.
Financial genius must be in the name.
So I did Rob, my apologies.
I had 1.03 in my mind as I have this on my little spreadsheet as my buy back in price for VOD before Lizzy & Kwasi ****ed things up. Oh sorry it wasn't Liz's fault according to her it was elsewhere, we have a delusional prime minister but there;s nothing unusual about that.
C'mon 1.10
Gary, didn't you choose 1.01 ?
Early days but liking my 1.03 finish guess.
Where is Porsche today?
Oh yes, it’s an up day so he’s quiet, gotta larff.
Its Struggling to do anything this morning - just waiting for the usual drop back into the red , hopefully not though , we can always hope
