93p for me please Bob
Hi Robleo, I have been in VOD since Racal..
I look at it in a societal and regulatory context which the market can influence but not move outside certain parameters set by global institutions. Honestly, 2016 is no time at all in the life cycle. Down to MDV or the next CEO to callibrate VOD with whatever the policy makers and CMAs decide. VOD will still be trading, investing, raising capital like other utilities...
Absolute 100% certainty imo, if hutch are briefing government, we will get consolidation across markets (industries and/or geographies).
If I am wrong, VOD uk get a share of 9m subscribers as 3 exit UK so win win in uk plc
Just hold tight and you will get 100% from here imho
slarti, I have been invested here since 2016, hoping every year this share would do a rotation, but we are where we are at an all time low, do i think this can get above a pound again, yes i do but cautiously optimistic are my thoughts here, as for your 185- £2 prediction i think you may have a very very long wait for that, but keep on dreaming and good luck
here is a link as a little reminder for you how this share has done since 2018, not saying it can't improve from here but i wouldn't bet my life savings on it

Scaredy, different horses for different courses.
I am gobsmacked guttersnipe is calling for rotation after years calling VOD SP 'in the gutter'.
Even Robleo is drawn to his reasoned arguement for rotation ie can only go so low before the only way is up.
Stranger things have happened. Guttersnipe might actually be Malone trying to accumulate cheap shares. Only mikey seems to have any firm grip on this bb and the SP unfortunately it's his todger.
Mole seems to move from risk to risk like Don Quixote lost 'in the windmills of your mind" or perhaps too much acid in the 60s and 70s.
Thank goodness for Roofer and Fridays.
I will pick 91.98p for next week. Uk GDP is likely to average c1.7% per annum until 2030 according to the imf so maybe SP increases 0.1p per week until 2030 and then Malone, Niel et al exit
Thanks SlartiB, some good information in those links.
I wonder what price Malone and Niel are targeting given their strategy is 'market consolidation'.
Will they sell as soon as this deal is announced or hold for the rest of Europe?
Presumably E& 14% is a long term hold for the reasons they stated, €/£ exposure and next gen technology (5G) investment? They also have approval for 15% but no RNS that I have seen
gutter, your right in thinking there Maybe a rotation, of course nobody can know for sure what will happen next, but as you say this has already risen from it's all time low, and if i can at least make say a 25% profit on my last top up of 86p that will at least have made my top up worthwhile, if you want less risk you may want to consider something like funds
what about you guys do you have a sell figure in mind here?
VOD/3 UK merger
'The government... announced an ambition to deliver stand-alone 5G to all populated areas of the country by 2030, driven by a "pro-investment framework", and confirmed its "openness to market consolidation".

As the merger nears with Three 3, would their Ceo Robert Finnegan be considered for Vod job or would that be a bridge too far for him , as ever the Sp was rigid , market will soon let us know what value 3 adds , keep the banter coming , in this sticky spot , enjoy the weekend......Roofer

"Here we go - into the red finish !!!"
Looks as though you need new batteries in your crystal ball.
Here we go - into the red finish !!!
Vodafone near all time low. Maybe there will be a rotation.
Soon be time for the blue pill
At best it will limp along until the company and investors face up to the fact they took too much out of the company in the past, leaving the current entity saddled with the debt.
That facing up will result in more short term pain in the sp, which is why investors and management don’t want to do it, thereby sealing the glum outlook which institutions are selling.
It’s also why you don’t have a ceo. The good choices will be avoiding the poison pill.
Just my view.
OK, So there's no denying what Gary just said, you only have to look at the historic charts for confirmation even Daniel has admitted it, the only question now especially for anyone who bought in under a £1 is can this make any gains from this current sp level, well hopefully it can, a blue day today so let's hope it can continue this upward trend
Yes. Danny boy has huge regret about buying Vodafone.
He goes mental if you are bearish.
Narcus - Not so wise (Wisebear) continually posts that he “sees positive news is imminent for Vodafone”.
Perhaps he is one of those paid rampers you read about because one thing is certain and that this is a debt laden, no hope, crock of cr ap in which many decent folk rue the day they got involved (eh Daniel?)
sell bt buy vod imo
ye a very big divergence with bt. still no ceo or any deals with three etc.
Wise- have you noticed that not a single one of your positive prediction an inside knowledge is actually ever correct, yet you still come on here spouting a load of absolute tosh masquerading as insight, really mate give it up. or join happy harry Dan on a sugar coated whatsapp group
BT up VOD down
Perhaps there’s no correlation after all
Short interest has reduced to 0.06% : data of 31/03/23.
Previously it was 0.07%. Reduction of 16%
ADR shares are up after hours. Hopefully a nice rise tomorrow
