Gutter, i don't think anyone here believes you got a time machine, maybe you should start a new topic and tell them all about it over at gsk, could be a good ice breaker! do let us know how you get on
Fleccy,

Well said
'At the current share price of 77.45p, we’re nursing a paper loss of around 14.1%.
Here’s how this popular and widely held share has performed over seven different periods:
One day (as I wrote this) +1.7%
Five days-3.6%
One month-17.3%
Year to date-8.1%
Six months-15.0%
One year-38.5%
Five years-58.7%'
'The stock looks cheap to me
When I look at this stock today, it seems undervalued. At the current share price, it trades on a lowly price-to-earnings ratio of 7.7, for an earnings yield of 12.9%. That’s quite a bit cheaper than the wider FTSE 100.'

Gutter, it will have to stop dropping at some point, at the moment it's not worth selling and maybe not worth buying either, that's bit is only my opinion of course, could end up doing better than gsk who knows
Who'd have thought🐈⬛would be filtered. Guttersnipe, isn't it about time you lost your 🍒 and swopped fantasy for the real thing?
"every penny this goes down is like a win for me because i nearly got tempted in."
you clearly fall under the category of what i call a ***** investor. pussies like to think they'll invest in stuff, but always bottle it at the last minute. they like to talk but rarely act and therefore rely on fantasy as a substitute for the real thing. guttersnipe, a love doll was probably your last big investment, why don't you tell us all about that?
Robleo - Go and look at the GSK thing, it's dead over there, this Vodafone thing is where the action is.
Every penny this goes down is like a win for me because i nearly got tempted in.
I am with you MrLong.
I reckon we will be circa 80p by end Wed. Then ex-div takes us back to 76p and we will slowly trend up from there.......MDV has learnt and will have some positive surprises to come.......
Gutter, i thought you had bought gsk shares, don't you have any buddies over there? stop being mean I'm sure they would love to hear your words of wisdom over there
70p for me please roofer, let's hope this will find it's bottom very soon and changes direction
3 positive days then a small drop Thursday, but not equal to dividend.
71p again for me please
GutterSnipe. I said (sic) Not sick. (sic) in the context I used it meant, spelling or facts incorrect Come out of the Gutter & you might make sense.
We'll have some green days, some red, but the drag of ex div will mean 75.25
We suffered yesterday, we suffer today but we are hopeful of less suffering tomorrow.

He put (sick) on one of my posts which had nothing wrong with it that i could see.
An he thinks he is superior...
Think Danny boy is feeling sick which might explain his animalistic outbursts...
It’s common knowledge that the share is priced atm to reflect the fact that future dividend will be in question. It also reflects the new ceo coming in on the back foot and needing to prove herself with turning it around. The trade is do you think she can and will they keep paying holders? My money is long on this one.
Is you feeling sick Danny boy?
"Is it any wonder that the CEO says they are concentrating on growing business accounts? Because they can’t keep domestic."
I'm pretty sure that isn't the reason. There are lots of opportunities on the horizon around private 5G networks and 5G network slicing, so the mobile infrastructure providers are possibly looking at a changing business model.
What I suspect is happening, is a move away from direct consumer retail toward MVNO wholesale and business, and not just at Vodafone. The mobile infrastructure providers will still operate their own MVNO's, a bit like BT's ownership of Plusnet using the EE network, but they'll move away from the direct consumer facing business and concentrate on Enterprise and wholesale. They might offer MVNO's/Government/council/Enterprise business customers slices of dedicated network bandwidth with the price negotiated against the overall network bandwidth available, so you could find a competitive market forming around wholesale bandwidth.
If their was a take over ,any price above my average of 91p would do ,but hope for £1.20
Other reasons why not to invest in Vodafone, I just wish it were different.
“ Vodafone was the second most complained about company last year, according to an Ofcom report, and they also lost broadband services for 11,000 people across the UK in April”.
Many, many more per month in Germany, the most important market for income.
Is it any wonder that the CEO says they are concentrating on growing business accounts? Because they can’t keep domestic.
Couldn’t make it up!
