Jax, you promised us 50p today. 100% chance you said. What happened?? I had the limit set
The telco sector is down 3.6% today so VOD ex div not so bad relative to that
This is just another CNA, BT, TSCO and a multitude of other stocks that hit multi-year lows. The tide will turn, it’s just at what level.
Lots of money to be made if you can get the timing right.
'I am sure those who belive in Santa will still ramp this up as value.'
Santa the forex dealer. £ strengthening and VOD reports in €. That must be the div+forex today. I mean what else can it be when Rudolph the red nosed RNS just about to land?
Will we ever see £1 again?
As usual the SP drops more than the dividend. Simply one way traffic. All the negatives are quickly coming together and surely just a matter of time before the end. The nails in the coffin will be debt and inability to get customers
Another day tomorrow no doubt more falls.
I am sure those who belive in Santa will still ramp this up as value.
I don't think any of the posters on here work in Vodafone customer services, so we can't help you.
Everyone understands that, the thread is now aimed at Guttersnipe advising about his payment of 4.5 Eurocent per share to the lender of the shares in relation to his short mentioned in his 15:10 post at the beginning of this thread.
I've just tried to place a broadband order with Vodaphone, £25pm 2yr contract. Got half way through the website order then clicked on the next page only for a totally irellevant page to appear!
Tried again and successfully got to the very last page to click and confirm my order and the webpage failed me at the last hurdle!
I did get a phone number to contact to complete my order but as Vodaphones order website hasn't instilled me with any confidence in them to complete the deal, I won't waste any more of my time with them.
Great vision there to go short before dividend date. Great wisdom
It is incredible that people on here don’t know basics, dangerous! The company has paid, as of today, a dividend. That means the money is leaving the business bank and getting distributed to shareholders. Therefore, as it no longer has that money, it’s worth that amount less as a company. Subsequently, the shares are reduced by the dividend amount approximately to reflect the updated value of the company as of today. Hope that helps.
2010 model is likely to have a few small dents
Do you have to pay the lender the 4.5 Eurocent dividend immediately, or do they give you some time to pay?
Very nice guttersnipe. Make sure you have enough money in the account to pay the dividend which you now owe.
Not doing so well now are you.
Well i don't like to talk money on here but I'm hoping to win big enough to buy a 2010 Ford Transit
"Luckily i acted yesterday so am already doing quite well."
How much did you go short Guttersnipe?
So far today 11m shares sold and 18m shares brought, but share price still heading south 😂
certainly grim for all holders. let's hope the merger with 3 gets announced tomorrow to reverse this carnage. what's the point of a divi if you lose multiples of it through a collapsing sp? lot's of punters have been mugged off buying this ****, me included!
Yesterday, all my troubles seemed so far away.
Nevertheless verify your email address is not a Russian thing else is you feeling comfortable numb.
But eventually Vodafone will come good or it won't, I'm thinking it won't so have decided to go short.
Luckily i acted yesterday so am already doing quite well.
Also with this weather it makes sense with the African ventilation system and notify the British government without prejudice.
Anyways, good luck tomorrow or Monday. RNS at anytime
^-^
Does seem that way
Vod only knows one direction overall
This is not looking good with the huge debt. I will pick up a few next month at 50p
Do anybody have an insight to what extent this will reduce Vod's debt level?
'Ha, maybe amazon will buy a network.'
Hi, my name is Jeff Bidet of Amazing.com. Anyone know where I can buy a really cheap 5G network so I can sell really cheap mobile services? I am a cash buyer and wont consider taking on any debt. I just want to aggregate really low quality customers who have credit history problems and have a high risk of their debt going bad. There is a market opportunity in this segment as these consumers are currently spread across all the licensed operator networks on welfare tariffs. Thks in advance, J Bidet
'Mr market clearly doesn't think so..'
Last week mr mkt was worrying about amazon offering a mobile service yet amazon doesnt have a network?
Ha, maybe amazon will buy a network.
