Up over 2% tonight in US, which augurs well for tomorrow. I think the bottom is in!
Many thanks, Rob
Danielh, We know your out there, get yourself back here Amigo, I'm going on a posting strike until you get back

Newsid, i don't see anything more recent than this
https://www.lse.co.uk/news/boss-of-troubled-vodafone-germany-optimistic-of-turnaround-r6akhmqybniqlvc.html
There's only one direction this company has gone in the last 10 years and that's down, just look at the charts, don't blame the pandemic or Putin's war or the recession, the rot set in here long before any of that, just take a look at the 10 year chart

you make your own minds up whether you think they are capable of turning this company around or not
myself i am just cautiously optimistic that it can at least get back to a £1 at some point, but expect this will always be a disappointing under performing investment
Sorry about the adverts...

Happy with a blue day
Bitter sweet though. I blame Andrew Belly and zero interest rates. Me stuck in a sipp. Avoided 40% tax wich is good, but got to sell some this weeek or next and pay tax. Who thought up pension freedoms and then raised interest rates. THATS WHAT I WANT TO KNOW
Lots of noise. Just keep adding before the sale ends.
Little downside potential, lots up upside and recovery after the heavy fall. I am a buyer.
It’s not cheap if they are losing customers in Germany. Holding in the hope things get better is a gamble. Just be aware.
The year after, 2005. Certainly not last year.
What about £1.19 Avo?
"apple at 1.19 I picked up last Oct"
Last time apple was $1.19 was in 2004, not last october. You are so deluded you can't even keep your lies together
"What’s “ cheap “ with Vod? It’s collapsed by two thirds in a fairly short time span"
Are you dense? Vod is now two thirds cheaper than it was.
Always listen to the garbage man
Lots of people are very emotional here and obviously struggle to detach from the variations in value.
What’s “ cheap “ with Vod? It’s collapsed by two thirds in a fairly short time span, and is still over valued. It’s just a falling knife. No, I don’t buy “ cheap “ I buy quality, think Msft at sub 230 and apple at 1.19 I picked up last Oct. I short junk like this.
Yes, the sp is in the doldrums.
I prefer to buy companies when they are cheap.
Perhaps you prefer to buy high and sell low. lol
Decline during MDVs short tenure at the top since 27 April
That’s some achievement
Sounds like wishful thinking.
VOD has plunged an astonishing -45% in the past year.
The share price today in 2023 is lower than in 1995, during the previous century, nearly a third of a century ago, when John Major was still PM!
VOD is one of the worst-performing shares mankind has ever seen.
The charts are pointing more to 50p than 70p. The glacial approval process for the Three takeover, which may well get rejected, is going to hang over VOD like a black cloud for months or years to come...
Gary doesn't know. The FY24 Q1 update is due on the 24th July with the AGM the following day. Anything anyone states on here is simply speculation, the real facts will be communicated in a couple of weeks.
@Gary
Thank you for your message. Are there any links to these facts? or where do I get information regarding Genrmany uptake?
Awful share. Useless Ceo in a useless index, run by rigged MMS, in a pathetic govt. What hope have we got. Think mm watching my buys , as they arealways in top 10 fallers. Astra, vod. Glen .Lloyds, to name a few. Our ft index is 30%down on average compare to other markets. FFS.
Sid, they will be a lot cheaper when VOD announces what most people who research thoroughly know, that they are continuing to lose customers in Germany at an alarming rate. Be cautious all you who keep spouting on about “no brainers” etc.
Agree newsid ,not sure who posted this originally but here is some figures .
