Vod is moving in the correct direction when you consider the junk status past and present CEOs have turned it in to.
Germany will turn out to be the worst investment strategy in the history of Vod.
Share price just does not want to move forward.
"Jax. Why don't you just short vodafone, make loads of money"
Dan why do you respond to Jax and Guttersnipe, they're just a couple of wind up merchants, not even worth filtering.
"Vod India losses widen. Another nail in the coffin"
Djones, don't you mean Vodafone Idea? You should research your facts before you pretend to know what you're talking about. Vodafone have written their India assets down to zero, even if VI went bankrupt tomorrow it wouldn't have a meaningful impact on Vodafone Group.
"Vodafone now values its investment in its troubled Indian operations at zero and warns that the outfit is in need of more cash from its lenders.
The revelation came on Tuesday in the telecoms group’s full-year results announcement, but funnily enough was overshadowed by the news of that much-needed turnaround plan and its 11,000 job cuts in Europe. As the dust settles on that, we’re able to take a closer look at Vodafone’s various operations, including that problematic Indian provider Vodafone Idea, or Vi.
Put simply, Vodafone seems to be backing away from Vi. The business needs more money, that Vodafone is certainly not willing to provide, and that zero valuation indicates that it will put no more effort into saving it."

From 2019:
"But the fact is that regardless of this apology, the bigger issue is that Vodafone has written off their India investment to zero. Also, the buzz is that neither Vodafone nor Aditya Birla Group, the other owner of Vodafone-Idea, is keen to bring in new money into the company.
So essentially, unless the owners actually reverse this stand and agree to put more money into India, the possibility that they will exit is still very high."

Mr Long - I has £450 but hasn't put it on yet because I is a bit scared.
Not small potatoes I'm sure you will agree.
At the moment I has it in lyyods bank shares.
Sorry, Coffee typo.
This is this price for a reason. Debt, competition, India,Germany, divi cut. Wake up and smell the roses.
Jax please tell us all what your position is in VF. You have no problem preaching what a bunch of losers we all are everyday. I just hope it’s not a pathetic amount that wouldn’t make the slightest financial difference to you, even if you get this call right. Looking forward to your answer 🙏
They didn’t lose your luggage again did they DH
And you packed your Vod share certificates this time
Instead of Andrex or that 80s tracing paper bog roll
It seems possible but nobody knows funny 😂
Jaxi50 - Dangerous Dan has only recently returned from holiday.
He has been very angry since.
I is afraid it wasn't a good time.
Yes DH goodbye hope you’re going somewhere nice
With all your Vod profits
May I recommend an Oceangate exploration
Danny boy, you say forget pi, it's the meaning of life that is most important. However, in the book 'Contact' by the late great Professor Carl Sagan, the answer to the meaning of life was encoded in the digits of pi, well the digits explained how to build a space ship to travel to the stars and find out what life is all about. See the film version starring Jodie Foster. Alternatively, according to Mr Adams the answer is 42 whose digits comprise the 3rd and 4th digits of pi. For further enquiries please phone: 27182818284590 and ask for Mr Euler
Jaxi50 always make a lot of sense, it is likely it will hit 69 pence any day.
Jax. Why don't you just short vodafone, make loads of money, then go away & spend it living the high life, instead of just boring us all on here? Nobody on here cares what you think. Goodbye.
When it's down he is right and when it's up then he's wrong.
Mostly wrong because stil now 60s.
The India news didn't have any effect.
A clasp nail in the Vod coffin
We’ll have a fcf warning soon followed by a divi cut
It’s so obvious
Meshtrader. Perhaps I should watch interstellar, but my favourite robot is Marvin the manic depressive robot from hitchikers guide to the galaxy, he reminds me of many negative posters on here. Forget pi, it is the meaning of life that is most important, but 1st, you have know what the question is!

Well jaxi50 said it were going down, and it have gone down, so jaxi50 be right once again ☺️
Anyone watch daily trading volumes with reference to On Exchange vs Off-Book? The On Exchange daily trading looks quite flat, with any big spikes in daily volume showing up as off book. A picture is better than a thousand words, here's a chart:
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/e/2PACX-1vQ49B8X4hFFdtXb6WUx45CDRcgMt5FBglgZCFc5UnApKRpOX8cznaVjvfKeIWdC6xr70q5wCbdhpFe7/pubchart?oid=570999884&format=interactive
Off Book trades tend to go through at the exchange price, but aren't used in setting the price. Large On Exchange trades could drive the price significantly either way, Off Book doesn't.
Looks like Jax is wrong again because its STILL not in the 60s. He even promised us the 50s, and we wait and wait and wait, but so far he's been wrong consistently.
Looks like jaxi50 have got it right again
