Biggest lol ever
This needs to break into the 6s
Once the merger goes through with 3 they will want to reward all shareholders with higher Divi's for the sake of the bigger company going forward.
I dont think VOD will raise the divi either due to currently low cover.
But the following needs correcting for the benefit of the easily led:
"It’s hard to predict SP moves but I do predict 1.40 is years off. It relies on rates falling to 1%"
There is zero back up or calculation behind this statement. How did mole man come up with the 1% ?? Why not 2%? Or 0.5%?
Just pure tripe.
The signs are they would be foolish to raise the div.
It’s hard to predict SP moves but I do predict 1.40 is years off. It relies on rates falling to 1%, in the absense of a strategy and plans to grow earnings meaningfully. Selling assets and mergers that shrink market share do not grow earnings.
Who says they will not increase the Divi, No one yet.
Vod have money coming in , they have the Merger deal with 3 .
Vodafone will receive further proceeds of €500 million, taking total net proceeds to €5.4 billion and the Consortium's ownership in Oak Holdings GmbH ("Oak Holdings") to 40%.
Will you be so negative when the SP hits £1.40 ?
“ Do you know what , with the large amount of free cash coming into VOD I wouldn't be surprised if VOD increased it's divi next time to 6p.”
This statement needs correcting for the benefit of the easily led. From VOD’s own accounts, actual FCF is lower than the div payout.
This company has financial stress currently hidden by selling essential assets.
Should start to rise slowly?
Looks like it has established a good base to rise from.
Yes you might be right, £1.36 -£1.46 !!!!!
you need to buy now before it's too late.
Looking great to establish a finish in the 6s
GLA
Ok thanks gutter lol
Robleo - it is a good thing I is hear to keep desperate Dan calm while you is away
Hi Dan, well with hindsight as you know i had two chances of selling at 140, but too late now, looks like my patience will have to be tested again, not just vod but all of my shares have been beaten down with a big stick the last few weeks
never mind off on holiday next week for 10 day break in Gran Canaria, if it's 140 by the time i get back i will buy you a pint or two or three
Only joking rob, but I would have sold at 99p!
Rob, How dare you call ma a fool, I just sold a load at about 70.36 today.
Jedclampit. I follow jax's posts, & have concludid the guy is complete moron. Not though because he thinks the vod sp will fall, he me be right, although I think it will rise. but with his constant repetitive drivel we all know he is a complete idiot , so instead of arguing about which way the sp will go (because we really don't know) Lets just all agree that he is just a boring idiot & move on. I say up, he says down & so on, & so on, boring. Just go away jax, we are all fed up with you, unless you can come with something more constructive.
The trouble is there are too many posters on here that follow the rubbish ajax posts who has no idea of what is going on but continues to pull numbers out of thin air.
Once these takeovers are completed £1.40 will seem very cheap and many will be kicking themselves for not buying more at this price.
No not at the moment,. but once they complete the Virgin broadband takeover anything can happen. £1.40 well within reach.
You would have to be very foolish to sell these for under a £1 or very desperate for the money, IMHO it will get there but just don't know when, maybe not this year but who knows, hold tight if you can, but
DYOR and all that stuff
Vodafone bidding for BT,not going to happen.
Looks like jaxi50 was right again
Do you know what I think will top up more now while the SP is so cheap, don't want to miss out on the big rise coming.
Do you know what , with the large amount of free cash coming into VOD I wouldn't be surprised if VOD increased it's divi next time to 6p.
Now that would be a good return if you bought more now.
When Major holding are announced, and when VOD put in a bid for BT.
This is going to rocket, even £1.40 will seem cheap.
No one should be selling this now, just look what's coming up. Vodafone will receive further proceeds of €500 million, taking total net proceeds to €5.4 billion and the Consortium's ownership in Oak Holdings GmbH ("Oak Holdings") to 40%.
When this hits £1.40 just think how much money we are going to make.
