No, Where was the 30,673.23 came from? If you bought 50,000 shares, then it would be only 61.346p per share. The lowest SP yesterday was only 65.1p. How could you buy them at 61.346P? In fact, yesterday's SP was the record low for many many many years. No way you could buy at 61.346p!!!
Vodafone Group PLC (LSE:VOD) 50,000 0.6609 33,045.00 30,673.23 2,371.77
does this answer you?
If you make the assumption that we've bottomed for the moment and are about to move back to the upside, then I would say that looking for an entry after 65.2 makes sense, if it closes below 65 then that would throw doubt on the assumption the drop has stopped. I'll be adding after 65.2 as long as we don't put in a new low
Well, Dan I wish this is not a dead cat bounce, but a true recovery. You long suffering faithful holders deserve it. Good luck my friend. You too, have a great weekend.
Or right before they bury you
Dan dont be worried vod goes down again, there will be a point shortly where is irresistible to foreign cos.
Today interest sensitive or superhigh yielding cos went up 4 to 17pc. surprised vod didnt.
shares arent investment anymore, they move on a minister opening his mouth.
Sidi.. It's called Dutch courage, you should try it sometime. As for a dead cat bounce, I don't want that, dead cats come straight back down again. Have a good w/end. Cheers.
It is always darkest just before the dawn
The forward P/E for 2024 is now about 9.3 which historically is cheap....but... the market is really pushing the BOD for better performance , and wants to see it, to believe it ...especially in the likes of Germany where they invested billions and yet managed to take their eye off the performance ...hence one reason for the SP kicking
Maloo
these stated retrospective purchasing events from posters always seem to be a winner.
Maloo, did you say you bought yesterday? 50,000 money or shares? But your figures don't add up. If £50,000 in money, then now the SP is up 2.72%. That is only £1,375 profit. If 50,000 shares, then up 1.75p per share, which only comes to £875. How did you come up with £2,500? lol
My first inv in vod since 1990 i got out having a decent profit. yesterday i had an urge in my water to buy them so bought 50,000 on the basis a that you posters seem to generally like the business even though you do not like the ceo b it's a good yield. they appear to be doing well. up £2,500 this morning
I am not an expert in this field. I don't pay much attention to the technical things.
I only watch the SP goes up and down all day.
So, no comment from me here, mate. hahahaha
"Oh, and meshtrader, since you are a diehard supporter of VOD, and I am a non-believer. So, you tend to see things differently from me. hahahahaha"

How do you see today's volume compared to that of yesterday? How can such quantifiable number be subjective?
Oh, and meshtrader, since you are a diehard supporter of VOD, and I am a non-believer. So, you tend to see things differently from me. hahahahaha
Well mole_man I know, but at least everyone has benefited from the sharp rise though.
Don’t you mean congrats to the few people who made their first purchase yesterday and also sold out this morning?
With every share purchase since 2011 including divs underwater, it’s a stretch to congratulate all voders.
Jax - actually you are slightly right ! But look a bit further back and KDNC is a train wreck but technically you are correct.
B&M? I bought some when it dipped to 558 yesterday. Now it's back up to 571 or so. Maybe I'll take my tiny profit after my lunch. Hope there will be still some for me to take by then, lol.😂😂😂😂

Utter nonsense. Have you checked today's volume? What was the total volume yesterday?
Sorry, but you have no clue about TA.
SIDI, if this is a dead cat bounce for Vodafone you could say the same about B&M. Personally I view retail as more risky than Telecoms, especially when it comes to the bargain basement retailers.
Yes robleo, I have no losers today, all blue. This must be a record! Oh, maybe I shouldn't said it too soon, hahahaha 😂😂
Sidi, a good day for all shares today, as I'm sure you have noticed and not before Time, I think we all deserve to be rewarded for our patience, let's hope we can hold onto it and continue in that direction, best of luck
'Need to touch 70p'
Todays price is ex div c.3.8p. Been visiting 70p/71p a few times this year. Possible div cut but possible interest rate cut too. Net positive imo
Yes fleccy mate, I know what dead cat bounce means, lol.
