"...VLS sp will rise and fall and rise and fall because it'll take an age to get into production to fulfill the contracts they already have..."
---
Well, there are a number of political and legal acceleration events in the pipeline (the next 2-8 months) The first is already here - i.e. the signing into law of the IR Act in America, and what legally follows from this. Sure the SP will rise and fall from one day to the next. Could it ever dip under 5p again? It's 100% possible, because anything is possible at this game. But barring catastrophic unforeseeable events, there will come a point - probably now sooner rather than later - where the trend will be inexorably upwards, IMHO.
from v o x earlier this week, never mind the climate bill being voted and passed a week ago... but i have to say new investors into VLS really do need leading here by the nose so maybe weekend press coverage of the bill will bring them here next week.
100k shares is just £5k... get it into perspective!

VLS sp will rise and fall and rise and fall because it'll take an age to get into production to fulfill the contracts they already have.
i'm not saying it's bad news i'm saying don't look at day trading volatility as an indicator of longer term targets. there are plenty of folk out there willing to 'join in' on news to goad folk to buying now with their intention to sell for 10% or, if it catches, more. but it'll still fall back... there's a reason the sp was down at 5.4 this morning but near 8p on the IAG contract.
yeah 'tops and his followers' are buying 100K and 200K chunks.. The climate bill has been signed in to law today by Biden, that's why the volume and the strong bid. This could carry on as the word spreads re. SAF and the beneficiaries. The MOU's will become signed off-take agreements now, and more should follow suit.
being ramped by Tops and his followers... doubt it'll continue higher than 6.5 (if that) before weekend profit takers pull it back down again... imo.
A key level is going to be 7.34p, as above that it becomes a £100m market cap company again and certain hedge funds, investment funds, etc will be allowed to start buying it again (many have restrictions on investing in companies with <£100m market cap). That's a 28% rise from here, which is very possible given a little bit of news.
All sounds very logical, MM. But still, I reckon it is only when the really big players come to the table that things will get cooking properly. (Any they most likely still need more firm positive news on Bayou and Altalto before they are going to open fire with their heavy artillery? :-p)
If it can get above 5.94p it will clear the old support/resistance line, but also retake the uptrend it was in from the July lows, which could see it head up to the next key point of 6.92p, which also coincides with the upper trendline from the lows. The 100day and 20day MAs are supporting it now at 5.27p and should hopefully help it trend higher. Let's hope the bid stays strong today and we go in to next week above 6p..
Very strong bid today that just keeps ticking up and up.. It has to clear the 5.70p - 6p area and we could be off to the races. The bid is now above the 150-day MA around 5.50p which has been pinning it down for over a week, so that hurdle has been cleared for now. 5.94/6/6.20 the next targets
Looking like a very positive Friday, especially we the nice size buys showing,, onwards and upwards.
MarketV, I agree with everything you say, most of all the "firm go-ahead for Bayou fuels and Altalto" part. As you can see the news this morning had little effect on the SP relative to where it has been in the past. Holders and new potential investors require deals to be signed and sealed before they put any more money in to VLS.
@jzchat
It is (was) heavily dependent on the SAF-legislation. Uncle Sam has just passed it. I understand Blighty will do likewise between September and Christmas. And the EU will likely do so in short order also. When there is a firm go-ahead for Bayou fuels and Altalto, this stock could very well be upwards of 30p, IMHO.
Let's get some diggers in the ground. That's the news we all want to hear. We know SAF is a good idea by now so crack on then.
Well yeah, people should have started buying at under 5p - not now! However in the medium-to-long term (especially after legislation passes in the UK and in Europe) it can only gain, IMHO.
Lots of them but most pretty small, only one I can see over £5K - whilst the individual sells are bigger.
PIs just moving small amounts around rather than anything institutional I think. Don't get your fingers burned.
