And in steps Joe Manchin.....
Really hope we never have to pursue the renewable diesel route as I'd be very surprised if the fine level of engineering VLS have developed which is required for the quality of fuels used in aviation would be economically competitive for diesel.
I'm of the belief that SAF is an unstoppable force at this point. The will of the western world in general and also the Democratic party is far too strong for cleaner aviation and SAF is the only viable option for the forseeable future. As you mention, Republicans appear to be on board for SAF tax credits in some form so should the reconciliation bill slip away, I'm very hopeful 6/12 months further down the line some action will have been taken.
Be incredible if the bill is passed prior to the 6th August recess, not convinced myself but certainly not ruling it out and the recent Supreme Court ruling may put a rocket up the Senate to actually start taking tangible climate change action before the US has completely ruled out any chance of realising any of their emissions targets.
Risk/reward, still think VLS are WELL worth backing. Yet to read anything on here that puts any doubts in my mind in that regard.
Well for one, they once had Shell at the table but unfortunately, Shell decided to part company and invest in the competition. Until they ‘on board’ that strategic investor, that others appear to be able to do with relative ease. it’ll be raise after raise on your bill
Garry, funding is never an issue for VLS as long as you keep funding them. Only a matter of time before the next dilutionary fund raise hits the AIM….
Hi Charles, Many thanks my friend for clarification. Is there any chance that funding will be denied in your opinion or that Velocys may run into funding problems ? GG
Hi - I have a small holding here but looking to increase it. Does anyone know any reason why the SP has fallen recently? I cannot see anything in the RNSs issued. I cant see any reason for the fall other than markets just getting bored of little news. GG
