Committed, not commuted!
This rights issue is sure a catalyst, however imminent lockdown narrative isnt helping the prospects of a near term recovery. With no recovery in sight, I don’t see how the airline can spend more money on speculative, unproven technology. I’m sure BA is ‘commuted’, to VLS, but that doesn’t necessarily mean funding.
Thanks @sensetalka, glad I not missed anything :) I'm considering purchasing some more if they back to around 6p or lower purchase price, just a case of waiting to see what happens and any news etc.
I thought IAG share price down due to the Rights issue they had which has lowered the price of there shares to I believe somewhere around 1.30 but I think due to markets today it has gone down lower like majority of shares. I was expecting IAG to still provide funding as its in there favour long term as they are still doing some passenger flights and haulage flights etc.
I’m sure that fact that IAG, VLS’s key supported us had their sp drop off a cliff. With BA on its knees, I don’t think any funding will be on its way any time soon.
the FTSE is taking a beating Kev, PM due to give lockdown briefing later I think has spooked investors. Everything in my portfolio is down today. You've not missed anything here if you're worried. No news has dropped although the Carolyn Fairnbanks is due to give a speech later today calling on the government to create an office for SAF which is positive for VLS holders.
Hi All,
Any reason for the drops back to 6p or just purely concern over 2nd wave of Covid/lockdown?
Noticed lots of shares down today so have a feeling nothing specific to this share, considering a top up if we go to 6p or below.
Thanks.
Myles McNulty honeymoon looks like its finished. Back to 6p until we get some good news I suspect. I dont expect it'll go much lower than that mind. Cant be long until we hear something positive now.
