Have not looked in on VGAS for a while and this RNS is about as bullish signal as you could wish for. SP due a re-rating perhaps?

No Results today then...sorry. Maybe Monday or next week? 55p resistance...So close to breaking that, we'll see 🔧 88E vs VGAS... £115m (zero revenue) vs £43.4m (already producing, see below for more info.) "The Shepherd laughed greedily as his flock entered the slaughter pen" Who said that?
Yes, I just stumbled also onto this last week. This share is definitely under the radar and worth considering. Volga Gas is already producing over 8000 boepd in the Volga region of Russia. No debt... 55p resistance and breakout to 75p & 88p IMO. Market Cap. £43m and only 81m shares in issue. Total proved reserves (Dec 2012) of $292m (NPV10%) Preliminary results on 31.03.2017. https://s15.postimg.org/60ufbynmj/VOLGA_GAS_ORD_6year.png
Iikewise. I've just seen this. Anyone been following for long? Any thoughts?
Across this share - looks good on paper. Is there a catch??
Apologies for board hopping but- The petition is going quite well; 3990+ signatures so far. Although it really needs a turbo boost. https://petition.parliament.uk/petitions/112044/sponsors/frRbCOsOLO6QqIN82UOX This petition was stalled in parliament since 12th Aug 15; finally green lit on 12th feb 2016. The FCA don't even reply on the matter, now is your chance to have your say. If you hate seeing buys reported as sells etc!!!!!! Has already been sent to Martin Lewis, Daily Mail, Moneyweek & Watchdog. My local MP supported this petition by writing to the petitions committee to help un-stall it. There’s 650 MP’s in Westminster, So have you written to your MP? 649 to go! If this petition doesn’t reach 10,000; then imo we might as well have not bothered as it will almost certainly be filed B1N; @ 10,000 the government should respond. So – If you haven’t yet signed or indeed have but haven’t passed it on to others, then now’s the time to do so. We really need a social / media savvy individual to help generate more interest in this.
Today, hoping to be back up to 60p+ again real soon
Looks like could be climbing up shortly! GLA
There was no credible way to short this that I could find.
Guess at some point VGAS will be sold to another... trading update not particularly encouraging. Update on Formal Sale Process As announced on 5 June 2014, the Board of Volga Gas has been exploring strategic options for the business, including seeking potential offerors for the Company by means of a formal sale process pursuant to the City Code on Takeovers and Mergers. The process remains ongoing and further announcements will be made in due course.
Does anyone Know Why the price dropped ??
sell?
This correctly? If share premier account is to be closed and transferred to profit-loss account - other bits would add another 70-100m to nav?
I don't like share buy-back because it could end up having no effect on sp. on the other hand, divi is something shareholder gets on record date. Gl
Today's RNS mentions share buy-back. Share buy-back could move the sp quite quickly as VGAS looks to be relatively illiquid? So of course could an offer for the company...
Looks good to me - have dipped a toe in for first time this am. It looks as if two large trades, of about 200k and 250k, at the end of last Friday moved the sp up from around 128p to 140p.
Talk, finances getting even better, I might pop back in again
And that is refreshing .
