Would i be right?
Vela share price linked to Conduit share price as it makes up about 95% of its value.
Yes Ltd....0.0145 was my anticipation havnt bought yet too much R above
Some buy orders triggered at 0.015p ?
Time to look at this again
Sorry XYZ, I bought into He1 last week not ENSI
I bought their last week and it's gone down quite a bit, but I still believe that the money is better their than it is with Vela. I hate the idea of losing so much money selling up here, but things don't look good here.
I took a small position in HE1 today myself. Predictably, it tanked at the end of the day. Classic
I disagree. CDT is the key to LTH's getting out of here with their £ intact. I never thought I'd say it but postman's right, it's a waiting game now. I can't wait to not be invested here any more but I wrote the money off long ago so if CDT goes on a run or if the BOD miraculously did something right for once and flogged a decent amount at $5+ then it'll finally give some a chance to sell up. The rest of the portfolio is just bits and bats of garbage that won't make any difference to sentiment or the sp. It's cash in the bank that people want to see, good old-fashioned return on investment
There are a few Shares out there that are looking very good, like Echo and He1 so I'm seriously thinking about selling up here and taking a 90% loss, then putting the proceeds elsewhere. This Share does look pretty much dead, or am I wrong? Should I stick it out here?
XYZ Thanks, I was thinking about Vela
Where can I fine information on this presentation next Monday, 26th February. please
I’ve had a good look but can’t find anything about this presentation or interim results on Monday
I know you're in ENSI Joe but you're getting obsessed! A bit like when MODE was all over the place. These aren't massive holdings for Vela, yes it all helps but one part of the portfolio getting back towards parity with the buy-in price isn't going to shift Vela's fortunes, we've seen that many times when there's been a run on something it has no effect here at all. Only an RNS declaring they've sold X amount of CDT and have a few million $ in the bank will change anything here, and that's got to happen some day - which is why I'm not going to sell at a loss now I'd rather wait for that day and then I'm out.
Compared to year lows:
Cornerstone (6.5p to 30p today)
Skilcast (18p to 29.5p)
Code (110p to 157.5p)
Ensilica ( 29p to 48 p today)
Vela….. don’t ask !
The above are all down in initial buy in but doing much better. CDT is 3x what it was not so long ago …although half what it was recently
TRYB performing as expected for a Vela investment, in at 8p now at 6.75p.
A couple of RNSs from TSP, it is only a matter of time!
Looks like 0.014p is indeed incoming.
And like one of MR's cars, it can take you for a ride. Unlike MR's car, this is not a thing of beauty, Im not a proud owner and getting out of Vela (intact) is way harder than getting out the car!
Still a small investment compared to the CDT value though. And they've been chipping away at the ENSI holding, selling at low prices to keep the lights on after blowing all the money on rubbish like TSP and Tribe (although at least TRYB looks like it's run by grown ups and will hopefully recover, unlike TSP which will almost certainly prove to be a waste of £300k). It looks like it all rests on the CDT performance now
The company is only valued at £2.5m now. About the price of one of Marcus Rashford's cars.
Long game as I stated,am happy to hold 3k coming in shortly and at this price will buy more,no brainier, good luck sir
More stunningly insightful analysis from the postman, nice one.
Wonder when the next update will land? Sadly the last one being mid Dec means it might not be until next month. At that stage it'll have been 10 months since Vela last put their hand in their pocket and made an investment, I sincerely hope we see in the next update that they flogged some CDT at a decent rate. That would restore a little confidence, maybe ignite some interest otherwise this could be a looooong wait for a pay-off
His motivation is that he is a clever man and knows more than we will ever know,I will stick with that, may take some time but these things usually do,keep the faith or sell up or hold, stop moaning ffs, buy some government bonds 😃
Does he want out though, no idea of his motivation for being invested here. With CDT stalling, Vela is a cooked goose for now. What incoming news could pump either?
Yeah, and worse for those investors that bought Laiker's shares at 0.04p.
What makes you say that?
Now up to $3.64
If meaningful news is announced then Ciz and Vela will have played a blinder to hold ….
SEC filings show a big buy in by Polar Asset Management (a Canadian outfit) on a par with Vela’s holding .
